Several different people suggested the irish spring, so I tried it and saw no more signs of them until recently. I just took a bar of it and whittled of little shavings of it all over the inside of the truck with my pocket knife. AHHHH VERY NICE

HEY BOYS I KNOW ITS BEEN A WHILE BUT IM STILL AROUND!! LOL WELL NOT MUCH HAS HAPPENED ROUND HERE LATELY ALTHO THE GOOD OLE MACK HAS ACTED UP A FEW TIME ON ME IT CAUGHT ON FIRE... TWICE ACTUALLY. THE FIRST FIRE WAS WHEN THE WHEEL BEARINGS BURNT UP ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BIG FUNNY ASS STORY THERE AND THE SECOND TIME. I WAS CRUSIN DOWN 76 AND THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH SHORTED OUT AND ALL THE CLOTH WIRES BEHIND THE DASH CAUGHT. JUST A LIL CHARRED NO REALL DAMAGE FROM EITHER OR!!!!! OH AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF MY FUEL PUMP ON MY PICK UP TOOK A SHIT YESTERDAY!!! LOL GOTTA LOVE IT

the only issue u should have with the allisons is when it goes it GOES!!!!! they r expensive and a big ole headache! and theres really no way to baby then either! if i were you i would stick with a manual.
