The 1997 to mid year 1998 engines were a million mile engine. I’d argue the best engine Mack made. They can be mechanical or electronic fuel control during that generation. The mid 1998 to 99 e tech were decent. The 2000-2001 had cam issues and weak Jakes, some lowest bidder crap going on with Mack’s blood-parasite company Volvo. The 2002 CCRS was again a move to greatness. At 2003 the CCRS got wrecked by emissions systems. You can manipulate those to make them a decent runner. Engines that old can deteriorate soft parts, so calc in for time. A low miles 97’ can never be considered fresh. Check coolant protection (nitrites) and note the SCA levels and don’t buy it if they are running NAPA green or whatever cheap coolant. You’ll have a pitted block.

Last July the US House of Reps ordered an investigation into the D.O.Defense to identify where and when between 1950 and 1975 they weaponized and accidentally (or purposely) released Lyme via pre-charged biting insects. The game plan was to use them as a drop-in bioweapon. It’s a relatively new disease, discovered in 1975.

Had a really smart geeky kid in my class named Justin and we also had a class bully. When he confronted the bully he refrained from swearing (1st mistake) and when he went to hit the bully he did this, strange, uncomfortable looking punch that looked like he was throwing a baseball (second mistake). Half way through the punch he slowed almost to a stop and started again. It was a bad showing, he needed to commit. Thats where Nanny P is. She wants to be tough, but she’s an old, worn down, establishment gal. She looks ridiculous as Justin did when she was ripping up that speech. Dumb, not tough. These folks think Trump is the big, fat, dumb bully, maybe (probably) they are partially accurate, but I guarantee they have no clue on what to do about him. Throwing Booty Judge or Commy Bernie at him sure as heck ain’t the answer. Making up fake news hasn’t worked. Making fake impeachment hasn’t worked. Making fake election fraud stories hasn’t worked. Obstructionist federal judge lawsuits hasn’t worked. Obstructionist politics hasn’t worked. Political campaign, fake dossier, spying hasn’t worked. Supreme Court justice confirmation obstruction hasn’t worked. They just keep screwing up and it’s a testimony to how unfit they are. Obama couldn’t deal with dictators in much the same feckless manner, no balls. Just like ol’Justin, halfway through the punch.....Stop.

Thanks Steeler! Me too, glad it was warranty and I didn’t throw away “Big Dad’s” money on injectors then have to give an explanation. You guys see the new injector design that’s out? With the relief cuts in the body so it has collapsibility via compress-ability. Hard to explain, but they created weak spots in the body so it can compress and collapse like a torsion spring. They’re hoping to stop face fretting by making the whole injector structure sprung. Volvo showed me a pic, looks like they think the compression and release of the arm pumping the active injectors can be turned into stored loading against the cup mate surface. Check the valve cover for HP rating. They didn’t make a 485, although certain 460’s stretched out past 460 horses. They (use to) make EGR disabling modules or you could block it. It was the transfer pump sucking air past the input shaft seal. New warranty pump, bubble free living.
