  1. Haven't laughed this hard In Years! Another funny one is the Irish folk tale " Why Paddy's not at work today" I heard it told by Malachi McCourt the author in his heavy rogue, it's on Google !
  2. It's a " Michigan train! Or a centipede, but that's not a state!
  3. Thanks for the prayers an d wishes guys! Have never thought about buying a generator in our 25 yrs here but went looking for one today none in the county! But it is just a convenience, we have extra food, water batteries etc,we are 6 miles inland with lots of trees between us and the gulf! But If I lived in south Florida, I'd have a generator and plywood or storm shutters like Hat City does! There were a bunch of gas lines and people driving around like idiots the last two days! They say impending disasters bring out the best and the worst in people! And it's the truth! At this point the forecasters don't know exactly what areas will get hit the worst they keep changing their predictions, but are sure we will all get hit by some wind and rain! Andrew is the worst destruction I've ever seen! And this storm is much stronger so we are taking it seriously!
  4. TD, have you seen the video of the antique tractor run over the Mackinaw bridge in Michigan's upper peninsula? You'd fit right in!
  5. Nice R, Jettertruck!
  6. That could be a pretty truck! The mirrors and turn signals are nice, but I'd like to see one with the bullet chrome cab markers!
  7. Standin' tall! Nice colors!
  8. I agree, rather see "real" Budds or Daytons!
  9. Have owned two Corolas, very easy oil filter to tighten! Are they buying Grandpa a new engine?
  10. Mack Tech, I guess the Wal Mart " technician" didn't earn his 10.00 an hr that day,
  11. Truck looks great TD, don't let the clutch out too fast, it might start running backwards,it's kinda strange to see smoke coming out the breather!
  12. Mack Man, those tractors are cool!, I have a 1979 Craftsman tractor, looks similar to those! Has a Tecumseh 13 horse engine the sheet metal is around 14 gauge! Much stronger than today's tractors! If you don't have the latest Hemmings, go to a newsstand and look at one! There is a 72 single axle R model tractor similar to yours won the publishers award!
  13. Joe Ditchkus, I used to drive for AT I out of the Pittsburgh railhead, they were bought by Nu Car Carriers I picked up a load of Amc Pacers at Kenosha Wi I remember there was a very pretty lake nearby! The pacers were ahead of their time, short and wide with a bigger door on the drivers side! Arco was a leaseway company as was Nu Car, possibly not when your dad was leased to them.
  14. I remember when I thought 80.00 a gallon was high for Imron!
  15. As far as I'm concerned the MH is the best Cabover ever made! Certainly the best riding one I've ever driven!
  16. It's a "Euc", didn't know they made class 8 truck chassis! Still cool!
  17. Looks like a firestone ase certified mechanic working on that double pumper!😁 David, you and I and about 1% of the population like snakes! I also like flying squirrels! I actually rescued a Dekay s snake before one of the other 99% of the population could run over him! He is now in a terrarium on my porch! He is an insectavore which is a creature that eats insects. I don't like insects! Snakes look good on boots, but not on Tony Lama, Justin,or Nacona, thanks to Warren Buffett they are all made in China! Still like your pictures OD!
  18. I love Brockways every one is a rarity!
  19. Happy birthday "youngster"!😁
  20. Welcome Richard! That's a serious looking R model!
  21. Truck looks great TD, don't let the clutch out too fast, it might start running backwards,it's kinda strange to see smoke coming out the breather!
