THAT WAS EACH! A TOTAL OF $400! The bolt are 20mm threads and 21mm shank(interferance fit) If I thinking i would have just reamed the holes out and used 7/8, BUT then they wouldnt have said MACK on them like the $32 bolts do! bobo

Sure hope nobody has to buy any body bound bolts, I got all 16. $32 for top, $28 for bottom.(list price) OUCH! good thingt my parts guys like me!

I got a T2180 complete with shifter! 1500$! I think it will work out great with the O/D of .71, gives me a bit more road speed even if I use 22.5 rubber. I hope it will mount up no problem? BOBO

hey rob its pretty bad in some spots maybe 7/16 between the flanges, monday im pulling the 5th plate/slider off. see how bad it is under there. The truck was a float tractor, wasnt used much, only 280k on truck. It was washed more then it moved! bobo

Im stripping the rw713 down for paint. I was just going to have the frame blasted, sealed and painted, but there is a fair amount of rust scale between the two(double) frames. I was thinking of cutting the outer rail off some where by the cab cleaning out rust and painting inside before rewelding and installing the outer rail. any thoughts? bobo

If you look closer you'll mostly find the roof is cracking. !VERY COMMON! the well nut are junk, the visor will blow off going down the road and take part of the roof. I had mine fixed under warnty. and fixed it again my self. when you do change it put the stainless one its lighter. bobo

Im thinking the same as you. On a mechanical pump, and inj's., which is crude system how could it not help, by pushing the fuel a bit and refining it. On an electric pump/high psi inj. I dont think it would help. Thats why Im asking. A few years ago when I was shop foreman we installed taggers(fuel atomizers)they didnt do a thing on the c15's but old mech E7 400 gained almost a half gallon. Bubbamobilin what f.a.s.s part number do you use? thanks bobo

hey I have e9 with 8LL, 442's on 22.5.(67mph) heavy haul on and off road. Im changing from open center to to hub pilot. What do you think would be better, change wheel size to 24.5 to gain some speed, or 18spd with 417 and 22.5 wheels? for shits and giggles money is no object! what would you do? is there any truth that a 8LL can be convered to a 18 spd? Just looking for input to sway my mind! bobo

hey any one ever try or use a F.A.S.S. fuel system on an E9? or an E7? Im thinking of getting 1 for the superliner but not sure what one to get. bobo

LOOK AGAIN! you can clearly see the shifter, red button and all. Have you checked your spark plugs or changed your clutch plate latley? and dont forget check gearbox problems if any...... bobo p.s. as for the cruise I wish there was. I use a brick held on with a rubber band to the pedal, so I can slip it of quickly when I'm down shifting.

5w30 is what Cat says to use in late c15/c16 here in Canada, low sulfer fuel. Our shop used to use in newer company trucks, but not any more. why have 2 types oil so now just 15w40

If I were to change my rw713 E9 tranny from 8LL, what would be the better 12spd or mack 18? would I have to replace the bell housing? I have 4.42(92) so I know Id have to change out rears. bobo

Im guessing it has a dump box on it? at the center of cab, at the rear, there will be two air bags and a leveling valve/rod. Check to see the the rubber ends havent broken/rotted off the leveling rod end, or holes in air bag or in air line. use a block of wood and a 2x4 wedged under the cab, where the exhaust mount cross tube runs parrell with the cab. this will give you enough room to look and get you hands under the cab bobo -

Your cab should be air ride in 03, they didnt come solid mount bobo
