  1. Try using golf balls to balance your tires, its an actice balancer, IT WORKS! 1 per tire, 2 if you run 385/425/445 and 1 in each drive. I have instaled new 425 steers, without the balls, ran for 2 weeks, SHAKE shake SHAKE, then put balls in and no more shake! and longer tread life without feathered edges. Anyone who runs 385/425/445 knows you cant balance them. Just try it, break 1 bead put a NEW golf ball in it and thank me later! 1 golf ball weights the same as the silaca bags we use to balance. AND... if a golf ball pass you on the hiway, you know you blown a tire! happened to me once! bobo
  2. if it was a CL, the RW would mount up no problem, not sure about the R. so NO! bobo
  3. This truck was a fifth wheel at one time. If you gonna be a dragger you should be able to make a silk purse outa a sows ear if ya know what im gettin at!! with all do respect that is. Cant speak for any one else but... I hear ya loud and clear! thats some damn good advice!
  4. Try it! The XT was a reflash, they do it to cars all day! every day! is an E7 not an internial combustion engine? its the same as a guy who has only ever ran 1 brand of tire and swears they are the best! HOW WOULD YA KNOW IF YOU'VE NEVER TRIED ANYTHING DIFFERENT! I to have wanted to try it! but now all i do is in plant service, light loads and not on the road, so not worth it now. bobo
  5. Im thiinking roll off unit would look good on the back!? havent even touched it yet. ordered 2 snorkels, high flow mufflers and throttle cable/linkage. been busy at USS, nanticoke. NO TIME FOR FUN YET! BOBO

  9. any1 got an junk e9 turbo? bobo
  10. rob if its got rectangular vents(not round)there is noting in the intack track. its more than likely the switch, the fan speed switch and its one piece, so you have to change the out the complete selector panel(red dot). is the breaker getting hot? if it is the motor seized and buy a new squarell cage too. if i get a year and a half from 1 im doing good!! bobo
  11. IM gonna stretch it, it needs about 40" put in it. How soon might you have the CH, I will need at least 1 if not 2 cross members, if they are the same? I could use them, help you off set your cost right bobo
  12. hey not sure but will the rad or air to air fit in RW? I know stuff from a CL will fit. exhaust bracket, wheels, lots of good parts! If price is right why not! check out my new dog!
  13. Well, I guess everybodys pissed off... answering all them question about a truck that wasn't(or was ever gonna be) bought! Hey what do I know Im just a full-time trucker! 56 to 1 thanks
  14. hey I have a 81' peterbilt 359 ALL ORGINIAL $6000obo I think the 359 was popular in the 70's and early 80's
  15. hey IM looking at 89 RW713 V8, 450(24,000k), 14300 & 44's on rears, 20000 lift axle. pto, 135 gal. tanks. dual exh and air cleaners. I will have to strech it approx. 30" to 32" when I get it home I will post pics and tell you guys the price! but I have a few questions. Its got 22.5 tires, 8LL trans and rears are cdr92's(4.45) what will top speed be? do I leave the 8LL in it? do I change crown and pinion to differnt ratio? I have a good 13spd, or spend the money and buy a 18? It looks to have an oil leak on the right side of the acc. drive. is this common? easy fix? can it be some thing else? the exh. manifold has a tiny leak on the pipe going to turbo. the rad was a bit low, I notice the heater hose was leaking at the heater core after start up, it was idelling for 15min, oil pressure was 60psi, and slowly droped to 28/30psi, water temp was 150/160, when I noticed the over heat lamp slowly comming on. could this just be cause the fluid was low? or bad switch? I belive it has two temp censors? the steer axle is a 14 3#, I will need to change it to a 20#, it has 2 steering boxs already, will i need to change the axle? or just hangers and leafs? to me the motor didnt seem too strong, with only having 24K since rbt at the dealer, by a good engine man. the truck has been sitting for two years only being started and moved now and again, it did smoke a litte white on decel after jake turned off. Is that from sitting with stale fuel in it? does it need a good work out to come alive? I havent drove a mechanical truck in quite some time, and am used to my hopped up 460 18 spd. should this 450 outpull the 460? I know some of these questions have been asked before but too bad! Im asking again! LOL any help and info will be greatly appricated! Its not the truck I need, ITS THE TRUCK I WANT! BOBO
  16. It works I did just that when I replaced my gauges, changed them all over to SW. using mechanicial ones for the pyro, boost, oil, and temp. I got them at summit. bobo
  17. We used to put a resistor in the air pipe all the time when I worked at dealer, it tricked it to thinking ambient air temp was colder than it really was, putting a bit more fuel. give me a day or to to remember what how many ohms and how we did it. bobo
  18. Lets not forget the new fuel we have to use now! its shit!! no matter where you are!! bobo
  19. Hey I just noticed you have the chrome louvers cover on the air intake vents on your hood. When did you put them on? was it the same time pyro temp went up? Its used to say on the package do not install if motor is 400 or better. they restrict the air flow too much! take them off on see what happens. bobo
  20. what is the "normal" trany temp? its eaton 18d/o with syn oil. Im getting up to 205/210 when empty, but at other times around 140. Ive checked the gauge its right. At times it takes forever to drop down at when not in gear, could it be dumping heat in the coolent? bobo
  21. NOPE! Its your own fault ya big stupid! lol hows the bike? bobo
  22. Whats the difference between the E9 400, 440, 450, 500, 600? is it just pump adjments? reason Im askn is Im look at a tractor with a 450. It will be used for heavy dump work. Did the different hp ratings have diffent torque rating? bobo
