  1. Thank you @other dog for completing your appointed duties as official BMT photographer! Nice to see everyone today and put some faces to the usernames! Dave (DavCut) 3rd from right
  2. You had me worried for a minute @JoeH when my browser opened to page 4 and a photo of the cab coming off! I had missed @Joey Mack’s request for a recap…. Glad to hear that the repairs went smoothly and that she is back on the road.
  3. Thank you for continuing the story @Vladislav! Have you heard if all of the orange F Models came from or are currently in the same fleet? Looking forward to hearing the next chapter in your adventure!
  4. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us @Vladislav. Safe travels!
  5. Still have his number Bob? Might be worth the price of a call…. 😎
  6. Over 8,000 items! Something for everyone… 😎
  7. You have a good start posting your question @Armo325 Eric aka @DailyDiesel might be a good resource for you. He knows of a lot of the honey holes of antique trucks in the greater Syracuse area. Good luck with your hunt!
  8. Looks great @JoeH! Hopefully she will provide years of reliable service going forward.
  9. Looking forward to seeing photos of the completed project @JoeH
  10. You are correct @Elephant ears, @kscarbel2 corrected himself above eight years ago 😎
  11. Looks great @JoeH! Are you going back to your “fleet white” with the donor cab?
  12. This might be a good one for @kscarbel2 to chime in on (he has been around recently)….
  13. Not sure if I remember the Blizzard of ‘78, but I know that I’ve heard a lot about it over the years. My Dad was a Ford truck salesman and plowed for one of his customers, Don Caliacco, in a 2wd Dynahoe at the Braintree Mall. They couldn’t leave the mall so they ended up sleeping on store shelves at Jordan Marsh. He said that they sent a loader ahead of the fuel truck plowing their own way to the fuel depot (or maybe the yard?). First loader ran out of fuel and they had to send another!
  14. Sorry to hear about the accident @JoeH . Hopefully all involved are okay. 🤞 I see from your photos that you’ve pulled the mixer off. Was there much damage to it? Enjoyed your build thread from when you assembled this rig. I’m sure that she will rise from the ashes better than ever.
  15. Welcome @Foxyjosh! I see that you are from Ohio. What club are you a part of? Do you have shows where we can all come see this beast?
  16. So, 6 weeks later what’s the latest @mowerman? Is this the truck you are going to ride off into the sunset in?
  17. I see that he hasn’t been around in a number of years, but it would be neat to see how @rclaggf4u’s project came together…😎
  18. I saw Mike's (Boston Trucker's) video over the weekend. That rollover was un-real! Everyone involved is lucky that nothing sparked and lit it off.
  19. Nice new loader, but I still love the look of the classic Cat in this photo… I wonder if the new rig will still be in service when it is as old lf as this classic?
  20. Thank you @Red Horse for the photo. Hopefully there will be more in the future… 😎 Any history on the truck? I grew up in Sudbury, MA (town just to the north for those who don’t know eastern Massachusetts), but I can’t say I remember “Framingham Asphalt”.
  21. Any photos of the rig @Red Horse? You know we all love pictures!
  22. Welcome to BMT @Gunny65! Looking forward to seeing more photos. Might be worth a bit of research on the working limits of current rotating dumps. Pretty sure most on rail have some sort of system that anchors the truck to the rail when dumping, but I could be off base here. You may even find that the swivel/hoist/bed manufacturer is still around as a resource.
  23. Interesting to see that the Cat didn’t get the standard department colors @NycHeavyIron. Thank you for sharing these “behind the fences” photos. 😊
  24. Glad to hear that you had a great trip @mowerman! I managed to make a brief visit to the museum back in 2021, but haven’t made it back yet. Someday I hope to make it up for the show weekend. Hope that you’ve found smooth roads back a work. 🙂
