I pulled the PTO off the truck today, well I dont know enough about them but im posting a picture of something with another gear on it that slides out also. Does that come off too or stay on the trans? Other than that it looks like its about done. Just have to do alot of cleaning up then put some RTV , the gasket, and the plate cover back on. Tel me what you guys think? Thanks.

Yeah ive seen it for sale too for about a year or more. Take 500 for it and dump the engine.

I see a flaw with ATHS forums, the starting topic is alsways the last one on there. Not at the top like a list here. I tried putting up a Wanted ad for a set of mirrors there and got no help ... even from the mods there. So im a full BMT forum guy and not so much ATHS.

Guessing you have a 237 Mack , U607T is your model right? Looks like you have a old Mason Dixon Truck Lines truck. I have a 66 U609T , 711 Mack engine, 9 speed duplex OD. They look alot alike.

Try Hanks Truck Pictures web site. On another note , Mack has a green hat with the Mack logo and a clover on it for sale, would look good with your truck.

The U was built as a highway type truck , etc. While the DM is made more for heavy use. Also ive never seen a single axle DM before.

Ive seen one in the ATHS Show Time magazine this year, it wasnt a B61 but a B-83 I think. Mack still made the B's to order is my understanding in 1966. Nice to say my U600 was built the same time the mighty B models were.
