  1. Im not an LT fan but any Mack in the 40's makes my ears perk up. The Hall Scott would be cool but I really like Diesels.
  2. He sold a B model a few weeks ago for over 8k that wasnt correct or restored. Maybe CO is a state where you can get top dollar for your Mack.
  3. Yeah Bobs close by , better jump on it before he does. Id find a way to come up with 3k if it was me that had the chance.
  4. Why so many negs on the comments? Did I miss something?
  5. Glad I wasnt the only one who saw the others.
  6. Anyone around CO thats going ot the truck show?

  7. "Freightliners beat the brakes off the competition "
  8. What do you guys think of this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MACK-1948-LT-SUPER-RARE-NO-RESERVE-/320769770869?pt=Commercial_Trucks&hash=item4aaf5e4575
  9. Jebidiah , isnt the horse suppose to be hooked to this thing. Ney , It runs on batteries... ---- I didnt know they could use new world things like golf carts.
  10. Maybe he wasnt so much a fool and figured out a 100% full restore would have had tail lights.. a 5th wheel , bulldog , etc, etc.
  11. I want to be able to do parades like that also. Im gonna mess with the horns today , Jay
  12. Me too , god im a jerk when I get cut off or someone slams on brakes in front of me. I want them and everyone else within 6 miles to know that im there.
  13. Thanks, I have mine all the way in tight.
  14. Anyone here have an idea to get a better sound from the sir horns on the older Macks? I have a good air supply , and I cleaned the horns out, no luck , Jay
  15. Oh ok , I was going ot say Mack Museum has them. Good luck on your search. Jay
  16. Glad you got it , I wanted it pretty bad and it was close to home at the time, Jay
  17. Sure wish I had an H model to find out. I fit in a B and U pretty good, but im 6 ft and 180 lbs.
  18. Rob , That is my issue, was the lack of communication. I think it was an honest mistake also on selling his last set when I called. John, Id drop the product too if your a bussiness and they act like that and you dont make enough money to make it worth your while. A this Mack Collector forum is where my question belongs, I asked if anyone had any bussiness with your company. I guess not. But if this went well im sure you would want it advertised. Im looking forward to them coming in. Your one of two people I know that carrys those mud flaps. The other lady is on ebay is out of NJ. Oh well , im sure it will all work out and we will all be happy. Have a nice eveing .Jay
  19. John , A call or something would have been nice. After 7 days of waiting to hear that really put me behind. I know you dont make them , thats why we asked if you had a set in stock. We did ask you if you have a set in stock , you said yes. If you didnt know the set you had in stock was sold or not , dont tell someone its ready to ship. Please take the time in the future to look into things like that. Then we dont hear anything for over a week , and you knew I had a truck show coming up this Saturday that we told you about. Im glad I called or id have never known. Im sorry about the shortness, I dont want to come off a jerk , im just frustrated I only have a couple days to find another decent temp. set. Worst case il put some black ones on for now. I will install yours when they arrive. Give me a call when they come in please that way I will be on the lookout , Thank you and take care. Jay Bennett
  20. I orderd a set of mud flaps from them and nothing has shown up after 7 USPS working days, Jay http://allvintagetru...k-mud-flaps-red Edit : I got a call back , story is I called to make sure they had them in stock before I made the order. I was told his supplier said yes. Then after 7 working days I get a call back (after I called to check on them after nothing arrived) saying they were on back order and not in stock. NICE waste of time. So much for having them on my truck before the truck show on Saturday.
  21. It depends if you looking for a historically correct Mack or one that looks nice and one you can work. Ive seen the truck advertised also , I feal its high but I like them to be factory correct.
  22. Funny , another was listed today http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mack-MB401-S-A-Fuel-Truck-/220866509312?pt=Commercial_Trucks&hash=item336cab7a00
  23. Sure got me. Id love to know exactly who my U model was sold to also.
  24. Sell the rest to an African...
