  1. I like the F model , I agree I think 3,000 is a bit much for whats left of a parts truck Superliner but thats me.
  2. hahaha, im a proud daddy. You guys want to know the truth , she did ask to drive more than once, and she did drive once we got down a side street where we parked it. Im saving the pictures you guys made for my wife to have . edit : Shes a whole 3 years old
  3. Yeah , the mountains in NC to me are the best but when im near the Rockies I had to take the time to get pictures with the Mack. Its changed a little since the July show.
  4. o.d. , Would you beleive Pikes Peak?
  5. That bill board is the best!
  6. They didnt turn out as good as we thought. My wife and I took thease.
  7. Also the Mack Museum has them , send in your info and a donation if you can. Web Site http://www.macktrucks.com/default.aspx?pageid=40
  8. I think we have a FleetPride close by , what should I tell the guy at the counter about the plate? Next, anyone need a PTO kit? Im curious too about reboring the cylinders.
  9. MACKS , im going to see if he can. I hope the part # is correct. By the way im looking to pull the PTO set up off the truck. It works if anyone can use it. I need to find the plate that goes back on the tranny.
  10. They took the 442.31 core charge off and left me with 1,029.92 to pay. Like I said I was told that was a Mack part number but I didnt know Mack charged that much for a reman air compressor for a truck that old or even had one. I figured having it rebuilt would have been fine but they acted like that wasnt an option.
  11. I got the 66'back from the shop , oil in my air system and a leaky oil pan gasket. I found out that I had to pay $1,471.31 for a Reman Air compressor. Does that sound correct. I have the part # of RX283782BXR that they said was a Mack part # . Its for the 711 Mack engine. Ive never had to buy one before so I wanted to make sure. There's a 442.31 core charge that was added to make it 1,471.31. I didnt think the $105.78 was too bad for the oil pan gasket. An empty wallet - Jay
  12. Can we make it other than Pay Pal? Im in.
  13. Its so much like my U model I wish it could jump on it.
  14. Like I said the F model would be my choice. The 1915 im sure I could give a warm home to also.
  15. Thats one to put on the shelf and to talk about for years,

  20. Beautiful Mack one of my favorites.
  21. I sort of ansewerd my own question , I still dontk now the end date but they offerd them as an option all the way to the 70's so far as a option when ordering a new Mack.
  22. I wish it new what ratio are in the rear end. I run about 65 at 1900 rpm. I think its good enough also. Im passing most OTR trucks and I dont think I can take going much faster.
  23. I have it behind a 711, the rear ends been re geared and runs down the road alott faster than it did when new.
