    Pulled the seats and floor covering yesterday.The big removable section is rusty,the rest of the floors are great.Seems they were undercoated top and bottom when new.Gonna strip them all down,Chassis Saver and re coat them .Have a local restoration shop coming over this afternoon to look at the roof.

    No doubt,that would be a great truck to have along side a 700!I'm real tempted by it but don't have the room for another right now...

    Every 5/6 speed I've seen in person had a Maxidyne in front of it.Using LO in anything other than 1st or second is a waste of time,and could do some damage as others have said.

    12R24.5's are a bit taller and wider.

    Econodynes have a much more narrow power band than a Maxidyne,they'd fall on there face with a 5/6 speed.2stack you sure the old 300 wasn't a Maxidyne?

    Sounds like it'll be fast enough.

    If it were running good,and as clean,straight and rust free at it appears he wouldn't be out of line these days.Would like to see an engine pic as he says it has a turbo and it's not a 613.Maybe a 711 with dealer installed turbo,not sure when they started that?

    Shouldn't be an Econodyne with a 6 speed.

    Well,may as well do the inside floor over at the same time.Pulling the seats and floor covering out...Hope to Chassis Saver it,then top with an undercoat or roll on liner.Are these roof panels galvanized,also any idea what they're worth?
