  1. And some other local car/truck shows the same day.....One thing I miss about the North were the large number of truck show's compared to down here, something has to be done .
  2. Bought three tonight,SO good. And the sweat tea,i need to learn self control...
  3. If I had the extra cash i'd be having Ray pick it up!
  4. Just talked to a guy today selling this B67.Has B61 emblems, and he was told it's a "57...After stopping to look at it,she's a "61 B67T contour cab.I told him i'd post an honest description and see what the B model public would come up with,he "was" asking 12K before I gave him a bit of a reality check on the year, model and price ranges.Looks like a natural 673 with a 10 speed direct duplex,10:00X20 tires that need replacing.Says it runs drives and stops.Fenders/hoods are decent.Right door and cab side are dented, but repairable. The back of the cab, esp. the lower sections are a bit "mudded up".Single frame appears to be straight and original.Floors are a bit crunchy/soft,fuel tanks are also dented.Bumper and lower shell are banged up.That's about all I know without hearing it run,all there but needs a complete restoration.
  5. I sent you a PM with the same questions...

  11. I wonder if that manual truck is in it's lowest gear...?
  12. Cannonball's were "50-"59.
  13. North GA.The wrecker's a fatcab not a Cannonball,a member on here may be buying it.Trucks are priced "fair",wants way to much for trailers...
  14. I've never used the report button(on any forum)until recently on here. This is by far the most "free" forum I belong to without mods eyes over everybodys shoulders and it runs very smoothly.I wouldn't let a troll run me off,no need for them to get their way...
  15. In 2000 I talked to an Eaton Fuller rep. that was visiting my old boss.He said within 10 years ALL large trucks would be auto's,and no more manuals would be produced.Wonder what the percentage of manual vs AT's are today?
  16. We had a few of those at my old job on "80's R models. We had great luck with and had an unreal amount of use/abuse and they held up well. The newer ones I've heard don't hold up near as well.Bibeu are prob. a much better choice these days, although I've seen many rust out in the Northeast too.
  17. If you need something ultra quiet, don't know what to tell you.As for autos,i drove some a few times. Was bored out of my mind without shifting...
  18. Mack should have never quit making them...
  19. Welcome, looks like you'll have a nice truck when done!
  20. Depends where you live. Some states consider the turbo a muffler.
  21. I passed on TWO of them in the "90's for 1500-each(bang head).Martins Trucking Springfield MA.
  22. Call me crazy,i love the chalky patina look!I'd like to pull the cab and base/clear it someday though.Just want to do a budget preservation job for now.Body guy came over today, gonna have him repair my aluminum hoods first.
  23. Exterior Mack green, not metallic.I'm looking to paint my truck this spring, just a decent "driver" quality job for now.
  24. As far as synthetic and acrylic enamel, anybody know what get's chalky faster?
  25. I'd avoid the ultra cheap Chicoms,i know the price is tempting...
