    I've read a few post by some guy's saying the 237's and other old Mack diesel's didn't go far between rebuilds.I've always heard the opposite,and have owned some trucks with serious use and they have still ran very well.Just curious how long you guy's have seen these engines last while being maintained and cared for???

    I've had nothing but bad luck with electronic engines from "98-"04 I've driven and been around.

    Truck was from VT until a few year's ago.It was sold a few weeks ago to the guy who bought it's mate.

    237's are/were great engines.May not set the world on fire but they are super reliable and run forever.I will say if someone had that many problems within a year either it was a lemon or it was their fault from major abuse and neglect.....

    With that truck selling for 6000/6200? I'm sure glad I didn't let mine go for 8ish....
