  1. I'll bet these clowns are all for memorials for animals but against roadside memorial crosses. If you don't believe in God something will fill the void to make us humans feel worthwhile. As the Bible says the devil is the author of confusion and chaos. Petites are surely confused.IMHO
  2. Seems like there was a sales brochure that looked like that superliner.
  3. Bigen your supposed to shoot those deer with a gun not your truck.
  4. What video! It doesn't show up for me.
  5. Nice lineup of Mack dumps. I think there might be a blue pete in the mix. Probably gets stuck in the muck alot with Mack to the rescue.
  6. What about that twin screw B that looks like it might have some potential. Hard to see the condition from that angle.
  7. Quality carriers used to be all navy blue back in the 60's Blue twin screw B-61's. They were from wisconsin.
  8. There were many six wheel drive b-53 models produced mostly for cement mixers
  9. Superdog St. Johnsbury trucking ran a bunch of twin screw U-models with 903's back in the 70's.
  10. Great looking truck. I think a decked out CH is the best looking truck on thre road. Question though how can you factory ordera truck and not know if the engine is a maxidyne/econodyne/or (forgot what C is) These three options are programmed quite differently for different applications. You must have been so excited you forgot. I am guessing the salesman speced it to your application. Have a good one.
  11. What kind of cell phone is that. Sure take a nice picture. Nice CH for sure.
  12. I looked up lancaster llp and came up empty. Iknow alot of chasis are made by a company down in mexico. I hope not Mack.
  13. Sounds like the ideal job watching the dogs comming out of the factory. I was on a tour there last year and I was wondering where do the the chasises come from that enter the factory.
  14. Noticed on the Mack website the world's strongest men pulling a Titan. Funny thing was the front end looked like a Granite. Is this an optional grill or have they changed the Titan grill. looks better as a Granite grill.
  15. Make it look like a B-73/75 with optional L or B cab.
  16. I remember St Johnsbury U models at the Springfield Mass terminal that had the Cummins V-903's. Great sounding engines but I guess they were gas hogs. The 903 had 320 HP but the HP came from high revs. Not good on torque and sucked up fuel. Holmes ran every kind of mack conventional. L,B,R,U. Never saw any Mack COE's for Holmes.
  17. I remember two Mack B-61 dump tractors back in Illinois. One was 20,000 lbs + and the other was 22,000 lbs +. You have to figure a heavy speced dump truck has to be at least 5000# heavier than your typical road tractor. Plus you have to add in the dump body 4000#. Paystar @ 30,000 sounds about right. Engine and tranny is pretty constant. its the frames axles and springs.
  18. Kill his sacred cow
  19. Not to worry UPS has run everthing under the sun except paccar. Mack/White/ GMC/Diamond Reo/Ford/IH/Volvo/Freightliner. Nice to see some MP-8's for the twin screws.
  20. That VT 880 didn't sell well and was but ugly to boot. Bring back the Superliner you dumb ass volvo execs. Make it look something lik the Australian Trident or Superliner. In this day of fuel efficient aero trucks there is still a niche for large cars.
  21. Along the lines of New York asphalt trucks how about pictures stories about Chicago area construction trucks. Any pictures of Celli or Palumbo Macks.50's thru 80's. I can remember Celli/Palumbo/Meyer/Bongi/lindahl/city materials/vulcan and 100 other italian named firms which I have forgotten.
  22. Under dog I remember that MH on the Allentown Mack website. Long wheelbase silver red frame E-9. I think they were asking approx 12500. One of my favorite Mack memories. Can't believe it went to Africa. Couldn't buy it then. Would buy it now. I can see why you would want that back. With the long wheel base I bet that road like a dream.
  23. Looks like the Pooch is sad to see some of his favorite tires are leaving.
  24. Couple of nice cruiseliners need saving.
