  1. Rough H67 for sale on facebook 3500 dollars
  2. Don't even mess with lack of turbo oil. You may be burning some as well.
  3. That is Cardillo's newer Mack Pinnacle. The Boston trucker drives a KW
  4. poppop: You and I have similar memories. I grew up in Illinois but then moved east to Connecticut. Back then I think White was just as popular as Mack.
  5. O&G Industries was an all Mack fleet with some A-cars, Fords and Sterlings. Some how Mack pissed them off over some stupid calander issue featuring Hi Ho dual steer HMMs( I think) featured in the calander instead of O&G twin steer Mack's. O&G is all KW now with a few Cat 660's. They may still have some Mack yard trucks. This also filtered down to Rawson trucking who used to be Mack but now are KW. Manafort used to be all Mack but now have switched to KW. Gateway industries used to be all Mack but now are mostly Peterbilt. They do have a couple of new Mack Granite dumps. Cherry Hill Construction has switched from Mack to Pete. They still have a couple of legacy Granites. American Industries was a Mack fleet and then switched to KW. Now they are back to Mack Granites for dumps and KW and Mack for lowboys. Mizzy seems to still be all Mack. Herb Holden was an all Mack dump fleet but now have switched to Volvo. (Volvo eating its own)🙂
  6. Thanks for posting. This was up on you tube as well (drone coverage)
  7. Kind of reminds me of the Mack B/Studebaker/Reo and IH KB's. White coup cab and the Mack A model and EH front windshields. Look up Orville body works where there is an extensive write up on their various truck cab productions. Orville made the B, H and G model cabs and may bee the L models as well. Sheller Globe made the R model cabs. The F's were made in house but there seems to be a lot of influence (similarities) to the Budd cab used by Ford and Mack. Incedently I believe the Budd Cab stamping plant was near by in Philadelphia. The IH comfort cab was made by Chicago Cab I believe. Peterbilt and KW were stamped steel and aluminum riveted and welded together in house it appears. Freightliners were fabricated aluminum made by Consolidated Freightways. I believe Boeing had an influence on KW stamping and riveting fabrication. This is the way I remember it though I may be wrong on just about everything.🙃
  8. Anyone remember BMT member mack3P. He was an engineer at Mack who used to give us inside Mack info from the factory on the sly. Or Dave Mckenna a Mack engineer who used to comment on the Mack website. Or KS. I wonder if he will be back. Probably all retired by now.🙂
  9. Vinny: Please give us an update if you wish. Have a great Memorial Day.
  10. Anybody know what's up with this thread? Used to be one of my favorites.🤥
  11. Does the B-53 have a beefier frame than the B-61. Not counting double or triple frames.
  12. Since trucking news seems to be silent as of late, where is a good place to get trucking news to pass on.
  13. Will a 6-71 or a 6-110 fit in a B? 6-110 is only 660 cu.in which is less than a 673. Side supercharger may be an issue.
  14. Move nice, sound nice, and easy to repair. Don't think parts will be an issue in our lifetimes.
  15. I guess most of the shenanigans went over my head. But I did learn how to spell shaynanoguns. Miss Mr. Hitchcock also. I hear he is on another site.
  16. What ever happened to Mr. Karbel?
  17. Too bad the Oakville plant is not still open, they put out some beauties over the years.🙂
  18. I'm guessing that's a 613 not a 713. I wonder what the specs are.🙂
  19. What years did the mechanical E-7 run.
  20. May be hard to beat out those cheapo Freightliners and ugly K woppers
  21. Good job mike. I saw B-63's when I was a kid they were tractors for Meyer cement (Illinois) pulling dump trailers. in 1959-1960 time frame. I am pretty sure they had the turbo 673. I think the last B model ever made was a B53 cement truck with the B-53 unique grill.
  22. The B-53 was a popular mixer truck gas or diesel powered I believe. B-61's were Mack diesel powered highway and construction trucks. I think the B-63's had the turbo charged 673 engines 205 HP
  23. I believe the 1989 RD hood was like the R hood
  24. I believe right before the Volvo by out Mack had an agreement with Oskosh to use Oskosh mixers with the Mack name and Mack engine. To bad they can't use the MR platform to make a forward discharge mixer. Get a clue🙂 Vo%$#.
