  1. Saw a Mack Granite tractor with a dump trailer on route 2 today. Couldn't catch the company. Kind of a rare site in Ct. The only other ones 'I've seen are Manaforts Kind of sad. I guess they are too heavy.
  2. There was a Cardi thread on here somewhere. They have some Granites and one Titan along with the older R's. Nice fleet.
  3. The western Macks were my favorite also. Speaking of recycling parts, look at the headlight areas of the G model and H models. Seem to be identical. Also the window area of the F model and the Budd/Ford/N model.
  4. Love that red and black RB. They would look nice as a lowboy
  5. Keep an eye on that BCR there may be some jealousy brewing.
  6. If they made LT's, B- 73-75's, R's and super dogs again. They would still sell. Brockways also. Wishfull thinking
  7. I wonder what they want for that blue weed eater R
  8. Probably only matter of time before micro turbines and electric drive replace diesels. I would think this could be adapted to locomotives also.
  9. Do you think the Mack LE would make a good forward mixer chassis. If so why don't they make them.
  10. White 2000's with the Reo cab. Probably late 60's.
  11. Not a KW fan but those Bullnoses were quite impressive back in the day.
  12. patdbossct-I know you have water trucks. Just for your information Joseph equipment up in New Hampshire has a couple of unique water trucks that look like dump trucks' One is an RB and the other an RD. They are orange and black. 5000gal I believe. Nice concept.
  13. Those are my favorite RD's. Old style hood
  14. I may be stupid. Hm May be? But what is the purpose of that mid frame little plow?
  15. It seems that Mack and International broke the mold in 1953 with their B models and R series IH's. These two models were the first models with non rounded fenders in the front. Both were successful. Seems as though there must have been some industrial espionage going on at the time. I believe that Mack won out due to their popular 673 diesel. Actually IH may have started the R model in 1952
  16. Any chance of a return of the E9 as he was head of engine development at Scania?
  17. Beginning to see the new American Industries Mack Granites on the road. Rt 2 & 395. Very nice.
  18. 864 in a lawnmower. Awesome
  19. Not a new concept. This set up has been used in airplanes since WW 2. Just hope they make it bullet proof. I guess Volvo has been using TC in Europe.
  20. How else could this common rail system have been designed for these engines if not under the valve covers. Granted fuel injection systems shouldn't leak but when they do it they shouldn't leak into the sump. Also why do the D 16 Volvos outsell the Mp 10's in Canada?
  21. Great job! You could name this truck "meat". Then you'd have meat and taters.
  22. Wasn't plant 4 the biggest plant?
  23. That 335 is sure crammed in there. You can definitely see why a Cummins wouldn't fit in a standard B 61.
  24. Best looking B 71 I ever saw.
