  3. Dam those were nice trucks. Great job!
  4. Back in the seventies a Mack executive said the LT was the finest truck on the west coast. What happened?
  5. KS individual heads gives it away. Is there any chance of Scania V8's comming to the US for truck install? I know they are here for marine and industrial.
  6. What were the major problems with the early mack v8's 864-865-866. I see a lot of these wer replaced with Cummins or inline Macks. I know one was the early fuel injection system with one plunger. It beat itself to death. 864-255 HP 865-Maxidyne 325 HP 866-375 HP
  7. That would be good to know before they wither away.
  8. On another web site H---s There is a thread under the truck manufacturer section Mack and its called U-models. There are about 12 white colored tandem axle U models shown. They appear to be parked under an open abandoned building. I inquired on location and if they were for sale. Might be a good lead. Vinny check them out.
  9. Could you get mack rears/suspension with Canadian spread.
  10. Nice find. When did the newer block start and does it have a different engine model designation.
  11. Thats what the Mack civil engineering group came up with DOCKS and FACADE. Those types of changes are sure to improve Macks product line up and market penetration. As snoopy would say -"Good Grief" Sounds like Volvo would be better off hirering cartoon characters than product designers .
  12. Don't see enough Granites on here Granite tractors are as scarce as hen's teeth out east here in Ct.
  13. Nice B. Nice old school paint job.
  14. Some of the railroads with the 567 leakers never changed the oil.Just added fresh and changed the filters
  15. Mack makes great trucks however they don't have the range of models vs the competition. Navistar/Volvo/Paccar/Freightliner. Example: Granite one BBC offering CH axle forward one BBC offering CH axle back one BBC offering Titan one BBC offering MHD one BBC offering MR one BBC offering Not counting bumper options of course. With Mack it's one size fits all.
  16. Great job for ex coal trucks
  17. How about starting an agency to regulate the regulators. Oh wait we already have one the Congress. But they don't do their job.
  18. Should be able to fight it's way out of a brown paper bag.
  19. I can see increased sales for MP 10 turbos and damaged MP 8's
  20. Take the reins off of Mack as far as new products go and watch Mack soar.
  21. Cab-Hood-Manual transmission-Top loading rears(Does Volvo use?)-Camel backs-Westport Chassis (Volvo probably uses also)-engine programming. Probably not much else. Is Mack walking beam still available?
  22. Where is that neck of the woods. I want to go there.
  23. Just think every single one of those parts was made in the USA at one time. Did any body notice the air dam on that L model. B models didn't even have air dams. Must have been put on later in life.
