  1. The Volvo cab is good looking with the VHD model axle forward. About the best looking construction truck around. Picture that with a Mack hood. Thats pretty much where we have come to with the Mack product-Name/Hood and Dog. Oh I forgot camel backs and rear ends(made at Volvo Hagerstown I guess)
  2. What is the next weak link after the axles? Gear teeth?
  3. The Mack name tag from New York and the HallScott tag are collectable all in themselves.
  4. As of 8-15-22 these two Superdogs are still parked out front by 495 ABF terminal. A couple of CHU's also.
  5. I doubt if thats still working.
  6. I am thinking about overall availability going forward.
  7. What are the most abundant used Mack engines. This would be good info for repower applications.
  8. 237 with a 20 speed. Wow better than original 5 speed.
  9. Read on facebook from a Mack (expert?) that the CH pinnacle is going away shortly to be replaced by a new axle forward Mack with a new design cab. He also stated that a new Anthem replacement will follow with the new cab. May be a bunch of whooy but the Mayflower cab is abot 30 years old. He did not mention any Granite changes.
  10. First time I saw the Stark B73/75/77? Nice old money maker. What are the specs?
  11. Looks like Sid Kamp colors.
  12. Jeff M Agree with you. More like 25K to 35K range Black dog. You have some of the nicest Macks in CT. What does your fleet consist of. I remember the Green DM down at the Coast Guard Academy a few years back. Awsome sounder. Mack 285?
  13. Believe it or not Quality Carriers started out as a milk hauler out of Wisconsin. Blue B models and H models.
  14. Happy Birthday fellow old timer!
  15. Happy B Day fellow old timer!

  17. Good to keep an EH for Mack history
  18. If I remember right the B-57 was a heavy speced truck for concrete trucks. Again if I remember right it offered a frame which was the for runner of the DM. I think I remember this info from somewhere on this site.🙂
  19. Do the Suzio's allow Mack gawkers?🙂
  20. There was an EN-540 I believe. I am not sure if this was a big seller and what the specs were.
  21. What is the difference between a B-42 and a B-421. Was the EN-540 flathead the most popular engine? 🙂
  22. Thanks for preserving Mack history!
