  1. Nitro Stan is lacquer based and won't really "dry" meaning its flexible and that won't work well over time with a catalyzed epoxy primer, polyurethane, or base coat clear coat systems. You'll end up getting cracks where it was used. This is best used with compatible older Lacquer based finishes. The "icing" that MaddDog is talking about it a polyester filler which is available in spray form and what I recommended as "Slicksand"
  2. sand blast, body filler, acid etch (not on filler only bare metal), epoxy primer, high build sprayable polyester filler(slicksand), block sand and top coat. Of course you could skip the blasting, filler, and blocking sanding steps and just re-rail it with new ones.
  3. Thats awesome news buddy!!!!
  4. LALALA someone is talking non-sense again lol
  5. Never had much success using a 1/2" drive on "bigger" trucks. Lol I learned at a young age why there was 3/4" and 1" drive sockets in my dads tool box.

  8. Yeah they had problems with acid rock or something for a while I think that postponed the project for a while but they finally got it done.
  9. A nice new road in Pa would be 99 from Altoona up to 80. I just ran that way for the first time up to Scranton and Wilkes-Barre and I have to say it was a really nice road to drive on.
  10. Welcome to pa and those stories you heard about the old mountain routes on rt.22 with names like Cresson. Munster, and Laurel Mountain were true. Now not so much since reconfiguring and re-engineering the roads. There are those "off the beaten path" roads that will sneak up on you..
  11. Very nice. Looking real good! What are you using for media? It looks like play sand. I would caution if so.
  12. My Dad and I will be making the trip see you all there on saturday!
  13. "Where's the high/low button on the stick like it said in the brochures?"
  14. Had self certification done about two months ago. My license expired the 7th of march. I sent my paper work In before the first of march like it was stated to do and the state issued me a new license..wait for it....on march 4th with an expiration or march 7th. I recieved a brand spanking new card that was only good for three days! That very day I went and renewed the license anyways so now I'm good to go. Moral of the story more BS and more people in Harrisburg with their heads in the sand lol
  15. My guess would be between 13-16k if rebuilt
  16. That was the point I was trying to make.
  17. If the truck has been completely rebuilt, taken care of, and not abused, which it looks as it has, I think its a fair price. But then again they say pictures can be deceiving. I guess that why there is a phone number listed to get all the questions answered.
