  1. I'm surprised they haven't gone Camless...& Actuate the valves By Solenoid.. But as Swishy is wont to say.. Waddaeyekno...
  2. Kenworth Here in Australia still sell a 6 rod Suspension. They call It KW6-60A But It looks identical to the Rockwell 6 rod in Kevins' Diagram/Brochure. Those Spring packs in the OP look More MACKish to Me than Rockwell...
  3. Well Snow is definitely a Non issue where I am..... But have been there done that with the other 2..
  4. I doubt if the Anthem ever makes it here to Australia, But if It did,This would be a NON issue.. 99.99% of Australian Tow Trucks are underlifts...Which render Tow Hooks Obsolete..
  5. I'm safe Swishy....
  6. Nice Seat covers...
  7. Aren't Tesla going to render the Diesel truck Obsolete..??? & yes, I'm being sarcastic..
  8. is he standing on a Milk Crate??
  9. Mackdaddy, you got any pics of Crackers doing the lines & scrolls??
  10. These "things" are NOT human & don't deserve to be treated as Such.. Cover them in Molasses & stake them out on top of a Big Ants nest, & let the Ants eat them Alive I say...
  11. No harder than it is for use our Right hand... I'm pretty sure most of those Outback Truckers use Both hands is per Swishys' earlier Post... Please Don't Judge us by the antics on that Show...
  12. They used the American F model Chassis. That's why the Steering Box was Mounted on the LHS, & they used the Push bike chain & sprockets to get the Steering Wheel on the RHS.. I've got a Book on the History of Mack trucks Australia, with some good pictures. I'll dig It out & scan them for you..(but Not today)
  13. The Cargo was Too little (& far) Too Late.. The Jappers had Ford & IH beat on every single front, in the Light/medium Segment..
  14. I've Owned 2 D series Fords over the Years. They were both Good Trucks apart from the 'shouse brakes...
  15. I've always been amazed at how disliked the V903 is in the U.S.A.. Here in Australia they had (& still have) an awesome reputation & They made a lot of people a lot of Money. They were regarded as very durable reliable Engines. (albeit a bit thirsty). Grain harvest has just started here & quite a few have come out Farmers sheds for the next few Weeks.
  16. Daimler/Frieghtliner or what ever they call 'emselves own Fuso..
  17. Brocky, The first batch of F models here in Australia still had the steering Box on the LHS & a Complicated arrangement involving Push bike Chain to get the Steering Wheel to the Other side.. later Models They put the "F" cab on a "R" model Chassis Hence the different Steering arrangement you noticed.. This is Why Most aussie F models have the "FR" model designation.. SWishman, she's a Lot neater than My Old Girl ever was...LOL
  18. Lets just say that We Move in; Entirely different Social circles. I'm good friends with the dealer Principle of an IVECO dealership (in fact He's a Full line CNH Dealership) & He would beg to differ..
  19. Well you certainly Can't beat Penske for arrogance! The sales Figures for Western Star Here in Australia since they've taken over the Distribution rights from Transpacific are living Proof..!!
  20. Now they've finally got the "Cursor" engines' reliability issues sorted & an industry leading warranty, they Might actually get the sales they deserve!! They just have to stop being so immensely "Proud" with their Spare parts pricing!! & a little less Italian Arrogance wouldn't hurt either..
  21. The Home page still has that Crap ,Swish,, But like you I snuck in through an open Window..
  22. Well Swish, If they let you In here,They'll let anyone In!!
