    I will try and get one today. I can feel the left and right sides and I can reach all the way to the bottom where the air compressor line comes out of the block and there’s nothing! It’s so weird. The camera won’t lie!

    I was able to get the block heater out but now the heating element is missing and I have reached inside with my hands and a magnet and I cannot find anything!

    I have a 1999 e7 mr688s. The block heater is in the back of the right hand exhaust side and looks like it’s inside a freeze plug hole. I unscrewed the plug and removed the bolt and the retaining ring. Now it’s stuck in the hole and I can’t get it out to save my life!
