  1. I have a neighbor with one for sale. I will get info for you soon. He is away til the end of the month. Single axle, E7 with 6- speed I believe.
  2. A good read , ruined by pictures of Harry Reid and Obama at the end under "related articles". Those two are in no way "related" to our U.S. Constitution.
  3. I was thinking the same thing... Deplorable and proud of it
  4. RW721 one of my favorite trucks. I owned one. A real pleasure to drive. I'm pretty sure Gary Mahan has my old truck now.
  5. Sounds like your driver is pulling the parking brake before the truck stops moving. I see a lot of drivers do this for some reason they use the parking brake to stop the truck. Puts a lot of torque on all those brake parts.
  6. The engine is running? You're using the truck every day? The only thing that could cost $20,000 is a complete engine replacement. You need to find another Mack dealer. And no a Caterpillar C15 will not fit under the hood of a Mack Granite don't even try.
  7. Don't forget this truck is positive ground also.
  8. Looks as though climbing up would be a challenge.
  9. I saw that air cleaner there but it doesn't appear to be connected to the turbo intake.
  10. The only way to know for sure is somebody close needs to go look at it. There's a lot of good quality work done on that truck. There HAS to be an air filter can somewhere.
  11. My guess is the cooling fan arrangement next to the stack at the rear. Looks like the intake tube to the turbo elbows down in front. Along the frame rail to the back of cab?
  12. Looks like a nice little tractor... Put it right to work. New Way air ride and it looks like a Road Ranger shift knob. Not original but very well done.
  13. I think that's why this event always sneaks up on me. So close to home and I can't make it happen.
  14. Wife and I plan to be there... It's about a four hour drive for us, but we have a few friends that will be there, and tell us what a great show it is. Hope to see you all there.
  15. I prefer the I-shift controls at the side of the seat in the Volvo. Much more intuitive and natural for transmission controls compared to the Mack.
  16. You are all welcome to come by for the SOIRÉE on Saturday if you are in the neighborhood for the show. My house is about 90 minutes south of Harford, as the Bulldog flies.
  17. I will talk to the boys in our company shop... They just sent out an 865 water pump for rebuild... I can find out where.
  18. I will be there with friends, Steve. We have an all weekend soirée at the Underdog ranch, and several trucks will be taking a field trip to Harford. I don't care about the weather, my truck looks better when wet anyhows.
  19. I hear you on the getting it running right. Spent a couple years and my budget building an engine for my F-model, bodywork on the back burner for now. Nice to know I have a reliable ride I can drive anywhere.
  20. The Swan is in our book of preferred accommodation! Lol it is a standing joke my buddy stays there all the time! They have 2 porno channels, black or white! I know the Swan well, because I grew up in Linden NJ where it is located.
  21. Hardly any auto moves that long anymore, the rail distribution network is really built up in the past 20 years. Some of the lower volume cars may go that far, but most moves over 500 miles go by rail. 300 miles is a long trip for me. From Dundalk our longest trips are Albany NY and Buffalo. Other carriers go south. My boss likes to focus on NY, NJ and PA, but we will get into new England out of Mechanicville and Selkirk NY railheads. Day cab is good for motel nights, but I'd rather have a sleeper with E-LOGS I can be more efficient. What happens at the hotel, stays at the hotel!!!
  22. You guys looking for older machinery parts check into WENGER'S MACHINERY in Myerstown, PA. Their business is used farm & construction equipment and parts. I'm sure they ship anywhere.
  23. It's an awfully long ride for me, but since it's for charity, I will be there!
  24. That was always my trouble working nights I would try to stay up doing things all day and never really get any sleep at all. When I was an owner operator I just worked all day and all night so what there was no argument LOL
