  1. For city operations slow speed and jobsites probably be OK. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. There is a single axle U model dump for sale near me in eastern PA. Could be easily converted to a tractor, may have been one originally. If you like, I will check it out further. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  3. Pretty sure they interchange... I have 673 manifolds on E-6 heads the engine I built for my F-model. If you are interested, I have for sale all the manifolds, fuel pump, turbo and related parts for a 673T. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  4. Same as the 12 speed, only no deep reduction. My '84 RW had the 10 speed, nice to drive.Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  5. Long gone thank goodness but still see a MASS 10 bumper sticker every once in a while lolSent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. Most professional, no-nonsense successful businessmen who would possess all the good presidential qualities most likely also possess the good sense not to run for public office.Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. I agree with your thinking. The rear axle ratio can make a huge difference in the way a truck performs. An easy fix for a few more pennies would be to spec a 6 speed instead of a 5 speed. Gives you a low range first and reverse for maneuvering, and your 5 speeds with a fast axle for highway use.
  8. Seems Keith's dislikes are more likely poor specs rather than the truck itself. WS721 verifies this in his post how 2 similar trucks can be very different due to specifications. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  9. Mini-Mack did a good job today plowing out. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  10. You never know lol maybe the transporter knew what he was doing and turned that pipe around before loading the truck backwards.Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  11. Allentown Mack ( Trans Edge) still has their dyno. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

  13. I own a '63 F with a 673/ duplex. The 711 was also optional at that time. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. We've been very fortunate so far this winter. Not much we can do to change the weather and no sense complaining! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  15. I would do this just to stick it to the power company. I pay enough taxes the government can grant me the money for the solar panels, too.Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  16. Here is my work area and my back deck in Bangor, PA. I gave up plowing because I couldn't see what I was doing. Still snowing 2-3 inches per hour. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  17. I could be wrong but the South Carolina plant was built specifically for CH production. As far as I know, R and RD were always built in Allentown / Macungie. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  18. This is how it starts... With your head in the sand... Germany 1933... Oh those Nazi's seem nice, and Hitler isn't a threat.Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

  20. Had a neighbor who ran 17 years for Pryslak... Said he got a lot of experience but never made much $$$. Probably good Pryslak is gone, they would not have survived the new CSA scoring. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  21. I've owned several different Macks over the years, but at this point in my life, my aspirations are humble. I would be happy to find the time and funds to get my MH up and running before the E-logs mandate kicks in.
  22. I seem to remember I got some unlabeled colon cleaner from some other dog in Virginia a few years ago. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  23. I'm surprised to hear someone outside southeast PA knows scrapple. You must have had some at the Bensalem breakfast meeting. My lovely and gracious wife Victoria is from upstate NY, and until she came to live with me at age 29, had never heard of scrapple. Nevertheless, I cannot convince her to like it. In her defense, I had not tried salt potatoes ( a regional favorite from her part of the world) until she brought me some.
  24. I remember going into a panic when fuel first went over $2 in 2000. Still don't know how we made it through before the fuel surcharges started about a year later. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
