Pretty nice little Show we have growing here in Bangor Pennsylvania. Organised by Bob Abbott, you may remember him from York PA aths show. He owns a pretty nice MH and got about 10 of them together for the photo that appears in Showtime magazine.
Motorama is just that... We welcome you and any type of motorized equipment.
Hope to see you there.

Pretty sure you can use teltech gauges on any engine mechanical or electronic as you will use their sending units as well. I see quite a few old street rods using teltech gauges.

Is that the "truck or treat" show in Shnecksville you are talking about? Not familiar with Hoppenville.

My 237/ 5-speed combo ( which is for sale btw ) vintage 1970 has an empty brake drum on the output shaft. The truck had maxi brakes from new... Must be hand brake was still optional in 1970?!?Nice. I saw an ad locally for 237/5spd for the same kind of money. Didn't jump on it.
That has a drum brake on the back> when did they stop putting those on??

I think you should just buy my 237 and swap engines. Mine ran 2 years ago too. Complete sarcasm, but the part about my engine for sale is true.

Just like the farmers' rates never drop for the price of the milk... The government controls it all.I'm all for it. We haul milk and are paid by the weight. Nothing will change. Our rates wont drop, we just wont get fined as much

Don't fall for it!!! More responsibility for the driver, more cost to the truck owner and you won't see an increase in your paycheck. The federal government is only trying to mitigate the loss in productivity when they mandate electronic logbooks. Move more freight on the same size fleet.
There is no driver shortage, only a compensation shortage.

I will take pics Saturday and PM you. If you saw the other thread, I have a windshield for you too.Do you have a picture of your set up?
Also what would the price be for just the filter setup?
I have 2 sets of wix spin on filters I had ordered by mistake before I realized it was a canister.
I keep getting told by the lady of the house I have to much stuff and I keep saying, no I just need a larger barn.
So an extra engine is probably not going to fly. Mine only has just over 300,000 so it should last a while in my 2,000 mile a year usage.

I have a filter set-up for an F model with brand new lines sitting on my shelf. I can ship it out to you if interested. I upgraded to spin on filters and no longer need the canister. Thanks that has saved me a lot of driving around and back and forth to the store.
Come to think of it, why don't you just take my entire spare 237 engine?

Went to Adesa Auto auction in Sterling last week, right behind Dulles. Nice people there but got pinned down there out of hours... That was a fun night getting an 80' transport into a hotel in Herndon...Unfortunately I have to take off to northern Va. sometime today. I've got a load of coils going to Chantilly, up near Dulles Airport. I don't like going to that part of the world any time, I suppose the traffic will be more horrible than usual today.

I carry my cables with me if you need a jump.Gregg. That's a nice offer but I'm heading back east on 84 and flying solo. Batteries may not be 100% so how bout a jump start if I need it ? Drive mostly local so til I've got more time w/ her always a little cautious. Love the F model! Richard

Many knew the 1/2 ton J-10 and 3/4 ton J-20, but are unaware there was a one-ton dual rear tire J330 (later designated J3800).

Reminiscent of the Studebaker trucks.

My neighbor actually called me to apologize for cutting me off the other day... I had to really try to remember the incident because it happens so often in the northeast... F.I.D.O. forget it and drive on... I laugh at it most of the time how silly the four-wheelers are.
