  1. I don't need a 2016 Mack OR Volvo lol we're going to go trucking on a budget. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. Don't want to jinx it before the transaction is complete, but a 1985 MH is taking up space in my yard
  3. Same here... I need cab marker lights for my latest MH purchase...Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  4. They used to sell mounts like this in the truck stop. I had one on my Jeep for years. When looking for one recently and could not come up with it. Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  5. I agree except try to find a new breed "driver" willing to drive an old R-model.Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. If the DRIVER is an antique, you can claim senility at the scale house and be exempt from any and all liability. [emoji12] Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  7. Bought a 2003 Denali 3 years ago for $10k... By far the nicest newest vehicle I have ever owned. I haul cars for a living and see the prices... New 2015 Denali $75k... Escalade $85k... I will be happy and keep fixing my 12 year old with no payment book Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  8. H61 looks like Big R colors? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  9. Looks like the S.S. Minnow, Skipper.Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  10. I think twice in about 10 years... Not too often but I am anal about getting stranded lol I carry lots of spare parts and tools. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  11. Lucky you made it home... Usually when the supply pump quits, it is complete and without warning. I got in the habit of carrying a spare in the toolbox. As far as drain intervals, call me crazy but I ran my 2000 427 E-tech at 20,000 mile intervals using Mobil Delvac 15w-40. The Mack service manual allows 25,000 mile intervals. This engine had bearings rolled in once and now has over 1.5 million miles without overhaul. Not bragging but I must have been doing something right all that time. Mack's 3 filter system is far superior to other engine brands and IMHO allows longer drain intervals. Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  12. Not taking sides, but Mack of Nashville was very kind and fair to me 3 years ago when I had an accident in that area and had to get my truck home. Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks, Tom. I enjoy the pics of western PA and WV as I don't get out that way as often as I did before. Ran steady Pittsburgh and up & down the Ohio River in a former life, mostly placard loads, so no turnpike... Got to know 22, 322, 422 very well with my E7. Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. I wasn't able to get a pic as he merged on to I-695, (I took a big chance getting one pic, anybody familiar with I-695 can testify) but he actually rolled coal pretty good...I had a VW pickup like this and don't remember it smoking that bad. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  15. Spotted today around Baltimore... No comment lol Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  16. Sorry I missed it... So much going on I always try to forget about time at macungie. No logbook no need for a watchGregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  17. A new startup company owns the name and is producing trucks again. mostly Cummins engines and the old white Xpeditor cab. Actually seeing quite a few on trash detail lately. Waste Management must have bought a bunch. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  18. That chrome glove box door is probably worth the price of admission... Although those interior photos don't seem to match those trucks. one can clearly see a tall air breather looking from the inside out, but neither one of those trucks has a tall breather?!? Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  19. Don't know the owner of this one, from northeast PA, it shows up at Jacktown Farmers Fair quite often. Awesome craftsmanship a merger of Dodge Cummins chassis and B Mack body. Has the dashboard and interior from Dodge pickup. Maybe some of you know the owner and can shed more light. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  20. No matter to me lol my truck looks better when it's wet anyway...And this year we have the camper up on the deck, so not sleeping on the ground in a tent anymore. Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  21. That is your check engine lamp. You also use that to read the codes. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  22. Neat to see the old macks being cared for. And that trailer #85 would look good behind my F-model. Gregg Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  23. Latest report says rain Thursday, nice Friday then tropical storm Bill moving in Saturday afternoon. We should get a decent 36 hours anyway. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  24. Joe, you are changing tires, that must mean you are getting ready to drive to Macungie. [emoji6] Gregg P.S. happy birthday I just noticed we share a birthday Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  25. You are good in PA as long as you are carrying your own cargo, and not generating revenue in any way. If you race or pull for prize money, that can be considered revenue. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
