Don't know for sure, Joe but from pictures I'm looking at looks like a totally different fender, cut shorter to match the hood. I wonder how many had 22" rubber?!? Seems that may be rare for a B67.

I had this issue with my 2000 CX. Check the main air outlet line, the braided stainless steel line from compressor to air dryer. Over time, any oil in the line will bake and eventually plug the line. This due to its proximity to the engine exhaust pipe. The compressor can't pump through the blockage, overheats, and will ultimately fail.

Thanks all for your concern... Definitely on the mend. Plan to get back to work on June 22, almost a month after my injury. See you all in Macungie.

Yes I do try and keep it clean, well as clean as a rock bucket can get.
Thanks,
Chris

Welcome, Chris and happy birthday as well! Good luck finding the B model, usually the right truck will find you. Looks like you take pride in your ride at work, too

I'm with Vlad on this one...interesting truck. I'm not sure that's a 1986, though. Looks more like a Super liner 1.
Pre- 1983 that may be the correct engine. And the best way to repair the rear window would be to install a 60" MERCURY.

Once again, all we are doing is feeding the sharks, i. e. the lawyers.Unfortunately you have to sue the cop personally for violating your civil rights. If the judge dismisses your case out of hand then you need to sue him personally for perpetuating a fraud. That is, a willing participant in a criminal enterprise that has nothing to do with safety but rather is designed to separate you from your money. Likewise the county lawyer. It ain't easy but it can be done.
Who are our politicians? Mostly lawyers. The legal structure in this country merely provides a feeding frenzy for their own kind.

I know and you know, but wait until the ambulance chasers get hold of it... "Even though my client was texting and lighting a blunt and taking a picture while driving, that truck should never have been parked along the ramp, therefore megabucks trucking company needs to pay my client $18,000,000,000,000,000,000.13 for pain and suffering" .In order for a car (or any vehicle type) to ram into the back of a truck parked "off the road" at speed, it would inherently be driving improperly, ie. recklessly, and bare the burden of responsibility.
Regarding parking on exit ramps and on-ramps of interstate highways and rest areas, and at weigh stations after hours, I'll also note the reduced speeds posted for those areas.
A rest area, by definition, is a place to rest. And indeed many states have divided parking to separate light vehicles from trucks. Why is it a driver can sleep legally at a Virginia or South Carolina rest area, but not in North Carolina.

Its a liability issue... one 4 Wheeler or even another semi runs into the back of a parked truck on the right of way and the lawsuits fly that's why all of a sudden it becomes an issue. we should park all the lawyers at the bottom of the ocean that would be a good startSo long as the tractor-trailer has pulled off the road, there is not a thing wrong with parking on exit ramps and on-ramps of interstate highways and rest areas, and at weigh stations after hours. This is what a driver should do when they realize they are too tired to continue on safely. A common practice for decades on Carolina's highways, it's never proven to be a problem. And yet, North Carolina wants to issue drivers a citation for doing the right thing. Just unbelievable.

Do you have a muffler on the truck now? I would think 2 stacks of larger diameter would tone it down compared to a single 4 inch pipe. seems like when I was a kid almost every E6 Mack had a single 4 inch straight pipe on itJust curious as I have 4.5" dual stacks I just put on to replace the original 4" single stack. I figured if once I got it on the road it was to loud I will just drop in a set of insert mufflers. I assume that those would meet the requirements?

Speaking from experience, that stretch of I-77 has a severe shortage of truck parking. Next time the trooper chases you off the ramp, ask him to escort you to an appropriate parking area, then you can both ride around in circles all night. I must have tried every truck stop along NC I-77 during many trips to Charlotte, most nights do a loop around the lot, no empty spots, grab a coffee and keep on truckin' and toss the logbook out the window. Sleep at my customer in Charlotte.

Before they give Caitlyn a CDL, they need to review his/her driving record. Specifically that pesky wrongful death lawsuit regarding a rear-end accident last year.Bruce wanted to be Caitlyn, now Caitlyn wants to be a truck driver. It was his- I mean her-first trip to New York,we should give him-I mean her- a break. I'd probably cry if I had to go to New York City in the first place. I'm in Pittsburgh now.

Why has Ford dropped out of this market in North America?!?
Full size trucks and big diesels are more than most people need or can afford. Smaller pick-up options have always been popular, especially when fuel prices are high. I am impressed that Ford took a giant leap of faith investing in the all-aluminum F-150, but still no diesel option, and no smaller trucks.
A friend of mine recently sought and purchased an '07 Sport Trac (amazingly similar to the new Aussie Ranger) and another friend is currently seeking to replace his tired '95 Ranger with another similar newer version. C'mon Ford, there is a market for small trucks.
The most unbelievable part of this post is that Underdog actually has 2 friends.

It's a vicious circle lol... Walmart CAN'T afford to pay its workers more because it is spending too much on DEFENSE OF FRIVOLOUS LAWSUITS!!!

Ran straight pipes on my CX for nearly 10 years... In hindsight I'm surprised I never got bothered all that time... I hear that truck running around now and it sounds awfully obnoxious to me lol... Maybe I'm just getting older...

GreenGiant2 is correct. DOT legal weight may be 34k on a tandem, but only if the tires are rated for it. Those 10.00-15 tires are going to drop the rating. What is the current weight on each axle?
You are allowed
12 k on steering axle
34 k on each pair of tandems
Max is 80 k (without a permit)

Vinny, looks good and I bet it feels good to get some work done on your truck. But I would have thought the U would have tipped over the other way.

My employer began installing these cameras last year, then backed off. Got a bit of resistance from current drivers, and I imagine it would be more difficult to hire new drivers. He's got his hands full already with several new trucks sitting idle. We need at least 20 drivers right now, unless he fired a few more this week.

The credit for the MH Roundup goes to BOB ABBOTT, a good friend of mine from Roseto, PA. He owns the gray and white MH in the middle of the line. I'm not sure if he is registered on BMT but he did promise me to start posting more. I even got him to photo bomb the BMT mugshot! The final photo counted 10 MH's
