I understand moving forward. What makes me up set is they aren't supporting the customers that have been there when times weren't so good for Mack. But they sure will talk about the heritage and how great the Mack name is.

They worked every day till about 10 years ago. Now he runs R models. He has these truck In the family since new or very close to it. They been rebuilt many times and changed. -

Yes but according to the new log book rules we should be able to bill the shipper or receiver more for are lost time. I try it and let you know how that turns out.

It hard with this life style but we have to take the best care of our selves as we can. Be safe.

And this ATA group crying that we need this cause it is unfair to the bigger carriers who can't compete against the smaller carrier who can work longer hrs. I don't even know where to start with this mentality. We have to to work smarter and long to compete with these price gouging whores. I have an excellent safety record. If they hire drivers that tear there stuff up that's there problem.

Yes sir. I guess it was to go in effect Nov. 2015 but like everything else we won't know till the damage is done. But it still sounds like a mechanical engine is doomed.

But there's no Grey area. If a month ago your were an hour out on a Friday and you just go home for the weekend you will now get a ticket. I only run about 85000 miles a year so I'm not over worked but some times I have to make decisions that fit in between the lines. And what if I jump in some one else's truck and run a couple loads. So are they recording my time or the trucks time. I think it's going to be a mess.
