  2. Glad it worked out. Hope your getting better.
  3. Thank you that's what I'm looking for.
  4. A buddy of mine in high school his neighbore had 3 C's they ran as milk trucks. As a kid I could remember him saying these Mack's will be around a lot longer then those peterbilts. Still makes me laugh.
  5. The restaurant is south of laporte pa on 220. My dad drove dumps for a couple years they had the 42 and 4300's he drove the 4200 went along hauling sand or what ever in the summer. Yes drove the truck. I like the chaise but didn't like the eng it shook like when an air compressers building air. And it has 4.10 with 11 24.5 tall. They said they would put 22.5 on but then that creates a hole mess of things. Trying to get the 5th wheel lower plus cruze at low rpm. The cab was roomy, liked the bunk yet some one took the heater out and left all the holes in the floor and bunk wall.
  6. Alway good to see the trips.
  7. Nice pics from down under. Would it be to much to ask for pictures of the air cleaner brackets and air tubes with the hood up. In the states the air cleaners are lower on the cab and the air tubes come in from the side of the hood. Thanks ray
  8. Well it made news in our area. Don't know the facts but it appears that a car stopped to pay a toll and a truck did not so the car is underneath the truck. The truck driver made it the car driver didn't. Always becarful. Then I get up to the Tappenzee bridge and this guy was parked on the bridge while these guys were stilling the crap out of the back of his truck.. Alway check your mirrors. Stoped to eat in Pa they had a 4200 sitting out front v6 jimmy for power. Don't see many 4200's any more. Or 4300's for the matter. Then went in side and they had a grill setup for truckers to sit at, but I didn't think I was qualified so I sat at the counter. Then there's this R. I just love the look. It always running around my area. This was on the web. No idea about it. Just different. Every one be safe. Thanks
  9. There's some kind of joke here with guzzlers, vacs and suckers, I have a couple ideas but there are kids on this site.
  10. Picturing an old spaghetti western, every body out side a cell tying a rope to a horse ripping the bars out of the wall.
  11. I know Mexico and other countries made some cool dodge trucks. They realy liked the 72 and later d800 style I my self always wondered what happen to the blue dodge. The TA was was where I've seen it my self.i think every thing was home built even he sleeper, talked a few min to the owner but he was repairing something. But hey he was making a living with it.
  12. I've been up and down a couple times still have yet to see the 12 ft bridge or ant to be exact.
  13. I've been around lcf's and fwd's which all basically use the same cab which i thought was from the 58 dodge pick up line. I've always considered the d cabs the pick ups. It's not quite right but its how I separate them. Thanks Bigdogtrucker go ahead and post away. Thanks
  14. Had to see if I still had this pic. Ran in to this dodge in NJ years ago. I would say it was early 2000's This fellow ran out of MS. The hood was not a factory set up it was like the plastic on the roof of a trailer, they made a frame and rolled over the frame and screwed it down. I gave him a 100 for creativity. Just couldn't be leave it could make it through the scales in VA. I just wish I had taken more pics. It was quite the feat in engineering.
  15. I would say all of these are org Lund not watts copies.
  16. Buying price was 38k. There were 2 bids. Never drove a big horn but its the same cab dodge used for every other model and they were roomy for there time.
