  1. I'm not a cap expert. You did some nice work with what you had to work with.
  2. Why can't you cut the filter and see if you can put in a straight pipe, maybe drill a couple holes so the sensors see pressure but all the sute goes out the pipe. Let it do it job just restrict the crap going into the filter?
  3. She's would be a better driver then most on the road today. Just steering wheel holders.
  4. Your right I guess I pulled 30. The Volvo has no style but it did knock out 7.9 mpg. For the week.
  5. I second that. My wife and both carry. I like the flat scenario.
  6. I think 20k front spring will be required.
  7. That's one of our problems. Our 7 year old goes shooting with us and the chief of police in our town. So try to explain to a 7 year old that its wrong to talk about his 22 cricket with his friend at school. Here son its your Constitutional wright to have a weapon and freedom of speech but if you do either your marked for the rest of you life.
  8. Almost make me wish I could buy the no. Step father got sick and pasted so I kept the name and mc. That why I do business as. Charles C Hirsch trucking. Mc 169784 I know they use the dot no but I keep the MC on the side for respect for him, he workers hard for it.
  9. A prayer for all or vets.
  10. Well it's been a slow week playing with my vovlo. I get the joke. Delivering trees this old timer started telling me about his truck a 900 kw would like to sale it for 8k. Didn't see it till I drove around the other side of the building. It's been parked for a couple years. What got my attention was the mc no. Then ther was this guy. VA. Dot was not very happy about the way he was trying to enter the scale on I-95s. Got to haul a trailer or 29 to be exact. Looked like an accident but its what was left of a high speed chase and cops crashing in to the perp. Then this mack was parked at a garage in MD looks like he's getting ready to rebuild. Bet it has a lot of history. the air intake goes down to the front corner of the hood the into the eng. couldn't get to close I was already trespassing to get the pics.
  11. Great work. Just my input on this year of truck I wold think the electric trailer cord wold be black. Green cord would b a ABS cord . But istand to be corrected?
  12. Yes the more parts the better.
  13. Some cool pics.
  14. I would rebuild the old ones. Yet I know that's not a easy as it sounds.
  15. Once again, nice. Are the B's working or show trucks?
  16. Just a couple ideas. From running an E9 my self it would be cheap insurance to get a set of heads redone at dale France's. I still don't know if a valve seat was my problem but they will do a lot of damage if one falls out. Just my opinion. Good luck with your paint.
  17. I ve looked at this problem with the air to air my self a couple thoughts. Maybe under the frame with ducking and fans? A fake pass side fuel tank look alike. With air to air inside. I've seen B's with dual air cleaners why not one that's some kind of air to air. Be hind the cab with fans. It can be done, cause if you think of a bus there air to air and its all in the rear. You just have to find or direct your air flow.
  18. Was in San Juan this summer didn't see anything that looked that good at the port. Nice work. Would be nice to see pics of one being rebuilt at the shop?
  19. Like I said before AWSOME attention to detail. There all sharp. What are some specs on the race trucks? 11s smokin in a big truck.
  20. Thanks I was wondering about the steer axle?
  21. On my 87 MH it's ball and seat. I would like to know if I can change it over to hub piloted. Specifically from a 2006 mack ch frame. If not what would work if any. Came across all new alum wheels 11-22-5.
  22. in the search block I typed in mack cabover. but looking around the site theres a lot of stuff.
  23. http://http:/www.modelcarsmag.com/forms/?showtopic=77122 trying to linkmif its wrong ill try again thanks
  24. I understand your problem first hand. Being that is a cummins I would look for an N14 it would be a bolt in and 84superdog knows the wiring. We've talked about maybe doing that for my E9 replacement, I think the E7 would be cool, but if you have a E6 and all the small parts then that's what I'd do. Good luck.
