mack mhe9 replied to Roger Schnabel's topic in Trucks for Sale
I've looked at this truck in Lebanon Pa. Very clean 6 cyl I forget the trans but a very well kept truck. Out of S Dakota I think. -
Looks like they were lucky the truck driver was paying attention to them our they would still be up under the dash.

I would have liked to stop had to drop the roller then run over to Spring Hill and pick up the sky lift at United Rentals the to Knoxville for the van. That superliner was at auction in SC. I think he's asking 4500 for it. It's in Barbousville KY.

Don't know but I could try to find out what looking for.

Exit 386 I think. The red RW was an e9 truck I'm sure you can buy the hole truck but there's no eng or front crossmember.

If the exhausts pointed int the wind I tape them up. Like 84 said its spinning with no lubracation and a mile or two I wouldn't worry but after 600 miles at hwy speeds its turning an awful lot.

Sorry 84Superdog I was in your area delivering a roller and this 93 RW pulled in, nice people. Then I was off on a mission from god, our church van threw a rod and yes it was serious. Had to get a rollback to get it out of Pep Boys lot and across the street to the trailer. Then had a nice ride up I-75 from the Knoxville area Had drop off some parts for a friend having a DM800 being rebuilt and while waiting for the shop to open I had a breakfast partner. Frame getting ready for blasting and paint Couple parts trucks Doing a pretrip and noticed the fan belt riding upside down on the flang of the pulley? And already posted this mess but a couple guys trying to haul a truck on a dully So over all it was a good week.
-
Yes the trailer was a tandem dully. 8 tires
-
Yes I think gross would be fine, but 9000 steer axle sitting on the very back edge off the trailers going to wreak havoc with handling. And when they tow backward the air fights to get around the cab causing it to push side to side. It will be a handful.

The set up was licensed out of Cal. And it Said not for hire on the door. I tried to explain it was all wrong in all the ways as described above and then some but I don't think they understood my English accent. Yes they where at 14.6 high. When you leave Penn Diesel it's about a 9% hill up to the light. I think I did the right thing and called the state police they said they would send a car buy to check it out but there's nothing they could do.
-
Who else can spot the problem. Unloaded at 10 pm in Bedford Pa. These guys where next at Penn diesel. They said it ok there only going to VA. Good luck.
-
I like my hood but I would buy a cabover in a min. Short wheel base and light to get around New England.
-
Is it just me. when you ask for just the burger they ask if I would like the whole meal and when I ask for the whole meal they ask if I just want the burger .
-
Did you price the alum just curious?

WANT TO BUY OR TRADE West coast help possibly needed (mechanical)
mack mhe9 replied to fdnymackcf's topic in Misc. Wanted
I'm out of PA. If your serious I can make some calls I've got people that run CAL. That could get it to Wi. I could get to NY from there. But need to know weight, zip code in CAL. And size I would need to know over all length and from the very front to the center of the rear axle that way we know what might fit with it. Thanks
