  5. those in power and in bureaucracies that are planning and scheming behind the scenes to destroy AMERICA and turn OUR great nation into a dictatorship!
  6. Material Service Corp. was a Chicago company started by Henry Crown he sold to General Dynamics but had held a majority interest in General Dynamics
  7. I agree 100%.Unfortunately for WE THE PEOPLE, the LEFT and the DEEP STATE are dug in like tics on every level and so they are gaining momentum. President Trump has been sent by GOD because his love of OUR great nation is more valuable to him than power,or money and this is precisely why the LEFT and the DEEP STATE are working so hard to destroy him. It is clear that President Trump is trying to give this great nation and the control of it back to WE THE PEOPLE and to do that he has to destroy the DEEP STATE.
  8. It sure would turn some heads
  9. I found this colossal truck in Downers Grove yesterday
  10. I found it on truck paper I was always a fan of the MB
  11. awesome a great reason for me to paint it blue
  12. WOW thanks for the info! was the entire cab blue?
  13. I know they had a ton of MB single axles
  14. underneath the red is dark blue paint and this tag led me to believe it is a post office truck however I do acknowledge it could have belonged to anyone of numerous government agencies. When the Mack museum reopens I will request info from them. Unless the pick up ramps had been welded to the frame of the post office trucks they may have been removed there are extra holes back there indicating that there was formerly ramps that had been unbolted and removed.
  15. sorry no inside pics it has a Mack ENDT672 225HP. with a road ranger 13spd and 38k Camelback
  16. I think it's an old post office truck I will know for sure when the Mack museum reopens
  17. The cab is in very poor condition and the wrecker body is in bad shape but the wrecker itself is in really good shape nothing worn out ,bent, broken or missing. I found a good one that's for sure
  18. I certainly will
  19. Yah easy peasy no problem I got this haha the cab needs a lot of work the wrecker is all there and had been taken care of only needs the body repaired or I might just make an entirely new body I do have a line on a couple of cabs. but working on these old trucks of mine is always relaxing and enjoyable
  20. restoration project
  21. The "U" model cab is off set for the purpose of putting the cab forward to achieve a shorter wheel base in order to pull longer trailers remember the R, U, DM debuted in 1966 The U an DM are basically the same cab as an R but you could not simply place the R cab forward over the engine because with the cab being narrow your accelerator would be on top of the engine. note R no dog house U and DM dog house. The DM 600 and 800 are for better weight distribution over 3 axles
  22. 1970 Autocar Cummins 335 Roadranger 13 and Hendrickson suspension Holmes 750 extended boom Just bought it today only pulled out of service in January of 2019 because owner retired. The owner who is 81 was forced to retire because he has extreme difficulty getting in and out of the truck since he broke his neck at age 79.He's a tough old dude and a pleasant man to converse with.
