  1. Interesting my dad parked 2 yards over from the place you loaded at. Canal in the back, block company next to you. Spent a lot of time down there as a kid.
  2. Thanks for fixing picture I couldn’t figure it out. That green Western star is beautiful!
  3. Grew up in that truck. In 2011 I finally found 1 it wasn’t a all star though, factory 5x4 spicers 275 wheel base. 400 cat. I went thru a rough patch and made the mistake of selling it. Now I’m really wanting 1 again. They sure 1 1 of a kind. Nicest interior I ever saw in a truck. They were overlooked by many, just as nice if not nicer then the big trucks of that era such as exhd A models and 359s. My dads had the ignition in the sleeper with gauges you could start it when you woke up.
  4. In search of a 1985 western star all star edition. I am willing to pay a finders fee, if you come across a 1985 All star, I will not hesitate to give you a very good finders fee. I would also consider any 1985 western star. Any leads or info will be greatly appreciated and rewarded. Here is a picture of my dads for reference. Thank you
  5. I’m sorry I even mentioned it. I’m surprised I don’t recall the Marmon in the plant as my dads shop was on Morris avenue, spent a lot of time down by the Glen cove incinerator/transfer station. Do you have pictures of the Lizza truck I’d love to see that 1, Glen cove was a sweet spot for old trucks when I was a kid. Can’t beleive I don’t remember the Marmon. Wish I carried a camera around more when I was a kid.
  6. That’s a beauty
  7. Here’s my 1989 I regretfully sold, 3406B 15 over was a solid truck. Originally Fromm Lancaster county PA then I ended up getting it from a Farmer in MD.
  8. Just was curious that’s all, I am 110% sure I didn’t incorrectly identify his truck. Because the truck he posted claiming was his with a 400 Cummins and a 18 speed has had a cat in it since new, it was bought new from Long Island Marmon in bellport NY. By a moving and storage company. There’s no mistaking it.
  9. Not sure what you mean by that, the truck he posted saying was his has the same plate number, so I’m just curious to see if he attached the wrong image to his caption. As I’m from Long Island and would like to see if I remember his Marmon being around
  10. Here is 1 of my many pictures of it, truck moved from this spot once in maybe 20 years. It’s still on Long Island.
  11. Not sure if you are confused, the marmon you claimed is yours with a 400 Cummins and a 18 speed has a cat in it, the truck was bought new by a Moving company from the Marmon Dealer in Bellport NY. Maybe you posted a wrong picture with the caption.
  12. Tell me more about your marmon, I’d love to know the story.
  13. Love marmons, owned a ‘89 myself. And I’m sorry to break it to 41Chevy that truck you are claiming is yours Has a 425 Cat in it and was bought new by a moving company out on Eastern Long Island. I’ve tried to buy that truck.
