    I haven't seen the underside of that style valve cover in years. still have the adjusting tools for lifters and injectors. the fun days for sure. to get all injectors to flip the same ; 4 the same not bad to match both sides :challenging

    well if sitting in the salt shed seems bad;; take a trip through CT . bring water and maybe food with you. it's a long slow ride as you pass one ; no two;no three and four maybe five trucks parked along the road (for construction). each truck having a "driver" either on a phone or sleeping. at least in the salt shed the road is open. this isn't middle of the nite ; during the prime time day traffic. traffic backed up for miles . pick a highway any one you will see it.

    only remember seeing a very few on the east coast back in the day. the C O E had my vote; NOT if comparing to an F-700; it was not bad looking . had the pete 352 style box cab

    trying to cross reference the two topics he wrote earlier dealing with same truck . earlier stated with trailer emer button out , air comes out the red hose when stepping on tractor brake pedal. now the suspension issue seems A OK , working on the air / emerg line

    what you are saying is now when pulling out the red trailer button, the tractor air bags deflate automatically/

    not understanding how a noticeable difference can be seen in the bags . they raise/lower. valve must be working

    am I correct then the only situation when flipping the toggle was ; you weren't sure what the valve did ?possibly there is nothing wrong with the system . the bags work properly ?

    total respect IS ALWAYS given. difference today is :: way way back when i said "i do"i consider myself "a doctor" .based on the fact : I had patience then . patients are gone NOW

    how is there a difference? have the bags inflated/ deflated ? if so I don't under stand the situation. unless you put an outside air supply to valve

    i would go back to disconnecting leveling valve arm from rear end and physically moving the arm ;; air movement will be heard /bags will change. if not do as JOJO stated remove the supply line to the valve.

    possibly bags are down now, depends on the style bag. some have only a short travel

    forgot when moving the arm make sure it's still connected to the valve NOT the rear end. might sound like "i'm not that stupid". not implying anyone is ; after 50 yrs of road calls it's the question that sound "stupid "make a difference when not being there to physically check an issue. a quick one;; call in liftgate doesn't work :: reply is the power cord plug in the trailer ? response ;; yes it is ;; OK 1 1/2 later arrive to find power cord UNPLUGGED back of tractor.. driver==you didn't ask about the other end!!

    since you located the leveling valve can also try disconnecting one end of the arm; usually the lower end . with ful air pressure and ALL body parts out of harms way,, just slightly move the arm up/ down. if there's air and valve is good the bags should raise/ lower.

    nothing happens flipping switch;; could be the arm to leveling valve broke/disconnected just hanging in "off"position. then trailer red line different issue.

    going back and forth on your other post about the air lines to trailer. a "94 is too new for me to know its air schematic. red button out shouldn't be air coming out trailer emergency line (red) during brake application. between that issue and air bags doing nothing with the switch ;first thought is someone has lines crossed.

    that suspension valve shouldn't be connected to trailer supply valve on the tractor . many trailers pick there supply off the red line for suspension

    last time i heard such a vague question asked ; i made the mistake of saying "i do" . what did you mean till death due us part.

    correction;; up/down can also be left/right movement referring to toggle switch.

    up/down toggle will normally exhaust a small amount of air which is the sound in the dash.

    so possibly the phrase "toggle switch up " just refers to flipping the switch up/ down; not a movement same as raising RPMs using a rapid toggling motion

    if possible; may I ask what switch cover would you be referring to?see a later post discussing trailer button leak . one in the same ?? the toggle switch part has this old man scratching his head.
