  1. didn't think shutters would do any good on your set up. so you have a full fledge Mack attack RV . LOL
  2. depend on the degree of trophy you are aiming for :: best of show or a clean running driver. factory new (in the day) everything was painted. remembering eng painted on stand not in frame from factory. good pressure/ steam cleaning covering over all important inlets still comes out good in frame.
  3. just noticed the shelby picture;; there are three people in a two seater. that's ,, one lucky S O B ;; a shelby and two beautiful women besides.
  4. not awkward looking at all. did this B have shutters on it before? wouldn't think you who have left them on with cooler in front? what is the later engine?
  5. I second that motion. the shelby could be remake. the blue G T O ;; perfect color / clean lines. only car to top a G T O ( for me ) a '66 shelby GT 350 fastback : blue with white 10 in stripes.
  6. first seeing it from the road = it's a ways away; thought it was F W D. didn't see where a triaxle was takin off. long wheel base. pressure wash:inside and out: and wax be a sharp working rig.
  7. loaded other info pictures. cleaned up sure would look sharp (I think). possibly someone on this site owns it ; don't know. hope there isn't any legal business with picture taking . wasn't any one around to ask.
  8. possibly i didn't crawl around or stay around much 1- cleaner clothes on and 2- wife waiting in the vehicle (NO SHE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND).🤣
  9. got three pictures on; won't let any more. have a picture of door tag.
  10. site truck seen onsite southbury CT
  11. a low-pro hood scoop R style wouldn't be all that bad, going to the filter on top of eng might be difficult. twin sleek looking outer air filters could look good also be functional.
  12. thanks for pictures. darn nice set up for such a major /challenging project. a C O E might seem easier having front half access, but a lot more things can go wrong doing it improper.
  13. took a ride with camera in hand today. drove in the yard no one around. got pictures and hopes to down load here. a DMM688 non front wheel drive . door tag says '80. no one came around and I didn't get arrested. twin stick ; no dash tag, ruff inside. possibly maxi 6 speed low hole ??
  14. waterbury Mack (long time ago) upgraded their single axle wrecker with a B-61 having a uni-shift. I did the body swap and was the one running the wrecker , most of the time. I didn't like the uni-shift; since it was replacing a '57 Diamond -T 5 speed / two speed , it was an upgrade.
  15. Joe ;; is the cab supported by the over head crane. i would think a COE would twist the rails when raised as in photos. real nice job.
  16. the proper way is always better providing a person has the correct equipment to do the job. i mentioned in earlier post the possibility of the rust/scale in between the rails after excessive hammering. assisted in a rail replacement number of yrs ago. as stated , it's a major job requiring safety as #1 priority. too many heavy items hanging . nice job Joe
  17. hope I'll be able to get close and check door tag. quick glance while driving ,looks to be a site truck .
  18. We don't BS , it's called expressing our knowledge :: LOL😇
  19. hopefully the forum will receive an update . any doubt run the one fitting the driveshaft.
