  1. I would put my money on hard discharge pipe coming off the compressor.. They clog up with carbon... PITA to replace.. unhook the far end of it and start the engine, i bet flow will be low. jojo
  2. I read over the postings again. I wouldnt dig in too deep right now. since its been a while, maybe start over and check for air flow issues. did you pull the top rear cover to see if the shift fork bolt is loose? Since you live in Kernersville, Transource is right there .. can they figure it out for you? jojo
  3. OH heck,,, i thought he was talking about the air passing through it to defrost his windshield.. Ooopps......
  4. here is a sample of the jig i made.. all i had was a T.P roller..
  5. I am well versed in this... remove the screws where the large duct goes up to the heater core housing. there is a rubber boot that seals the duct. slide it back a bit.. it may be dry rotted. it is a PITA to get back in place when your done.. I made a cardboard tube round enough to fit over my shop vac. hose.. (12-16 inches long) then I flattened all of it but the round end for the vac. I put layers of duct tape over the flattened end to keep it flat. then I cut a rectangular hole on one side ( not through both sides, just one) , in the flat end 3/4'' from the end.. basically making a sideways sucker for the vac. then I used a wedge to hold the large duct open and stuck that sucker in there. I chose cardboard because it wont damage the core. a combo of a blow gun and my fancy pants tools and some patience will get the dirt out.
  6. Nope, we all see it.. don't forget the movie that will have footage from the 60' s where the fire hose was used on rioters, and Rosas bus ride, and the lunch counter,, and so- on...... Boo Whoo Whoo... I get sooo tired of rich black people crying about racism, and how whitey keeps them down..
  7. Thank you Fani Willis,,,,, Thank you... We knew anyway.. Jojo
  8. no biggie.. hell im out anyway.....
  9. hell.. I thought he had an actual clutch pedal when I answered him in another posting.. yes,,, grade gripper....
  10. Oh My Suffering Christ !!!! You are amazing.. I had no idea there were that many..
  11. awesome !!!!!!!!!!
  12. 👍 there are many postings about your issue, that you can search out.. You may see more and/or better info.. Many of us took the time to write lengthy post's on this issue.. Just type in ''fuel pressure'' and I bet you will see a lot of info.. jojo
  13. that engine has 6 individual injection pumps. EUP's.. you can get fuel pressure from the port behind the over board breather on the front of the engine.. 1/4'' NPT threads, you can hook a hose or long nipple there with a gauge.. jojo
  14. the Clintons are related to a handful of deaths, McDoogle, Vince Foster, Epstien, I have forgotten a couple more right now, possibly JFK Jr. but not sure......
  15. Ok.. I didn't know that about Canada.. I would check fuel pressure. Do you know where to hook the gauge?
  16. That's a new one for me..
  17. Do you have any fault codes, for example a throttle pedal code?
  18. So the hesitation may be fuel pressure. 1000 rpm idle speed is too high. Should be 625-675.. if when it's idling at 625 and for a split second jumps up to 650, every few seconds, many times the fuel pressure regulator is failing. Press should be around 80 PSI. They brought it down from 100. Fuel pressure is checked with a hand held gauge not a computer..
  19. It's Barry's Birthday today.. I hope you have a great day. Thanks for all you do here at BMT.. Jojo
  20. No, you can make up new coolant lines. Don't think you need to mess with the discharge line unless it's rigid..
  21. lots of oil... for sure..
  22. yes but what is it connected too? I have seen that as an air fan line and on AC's its for the air filter for the VGT.. I'm just curious...
  23. Hmmm I wonder what that pressure protection valve is tied too? as far as the compressor, what is on there now? Wabco single cyl.?
  24. thats the air line for the engine fan. but i dont see the knob to shut off the air supply.. also see some oil on the relief port.. is your compressor worn out?
