  2. Perfect, did you loose fuel prime? if so, you can crack #2 and #4 or #5 line at the head and pump the primer til they bleed then lock'em down... it will fire up with-in 10 seconds..
  3. good deal.. just make sure the globe and its flange is clean, and the filter housing too. the o-ring goes on the end of the globe, not under the ring... the ring is just a big plastic nut. You got this...

  5. Check the fusable link in the battery box. See if it is loose or burned out.
  6. Ok.. I just saw the video, the large o-ring at the base of the globe is leaking air.. that is the problem.. drain it down to just below the globe. Clean and inspect the o-ring. Clean the lock ring and globe flange. Re - install and only pour enough fuel to show 1 inch of fuel, and re - test. That air leak is common, but can be avoided by keeping it clean. There is also a check valve inside the big input fitting. They are about $10.00, and well worth replacing.. it is easy to do.. Jojo
  7. Coolant through the tubes, oil around it.. a closer picture would help. You sure it's not coolant? Did you wipe it off before taking the picture?

  11. It is so sad that The Biden Klan is doing every thing they can to make our children into idiots.. Every night in our local news,,, since just before school started, there has been negative stories about our school systems. Every thing from school buses, bus crashes, funding, school shooting training, and so-on... Nothing positive, oh yeah and here in N.C. they are concentrated on Non-Whites... and ''Underserved Community's, and Food Deserts'' and how are the School Children are going to eat.. meanwhile, the parent/Guardian (Grandma) is a 'Fat A$$... Food Desert my a$$.. I would love to have a copy of the Memo, that instructs our local Govt's to do this B.S. ...... Just sayin' At this rate, China will own us in less than 10 years...

  13. Did you check the deck with a straight edge, to see if it's flat. No more then .005" is allowed.. also, where is the leak? Same spot?? Have you checked the liner protrusion? Needs to be within .002" to neighboring cylinder,. The limits are .023"-.029"...

  15. On the side of the tranny, I mean transmission, rear ward of the big fill plug, is letters and numbers stamped into the case. The model will look like "T- 30??... For example, T-310M .. if you have a ten speed with the yellow fwd. Rev. Button on the side of the shifter, that is likely a T-310 M.. but just like DCW says, more info please.. Jojo

  17. Hi Guy's.. Does anyone know where I can get the Injector lines for a '60-ish ENDT 673, with and Ambach inj. pump? I blasted the ones I have and found several thin spots.. mine are correctly bent, in the case that they need to be copied. Jojo
  18. whats the chance that the continental flat head 6 in my 1958 (M-56 B-1) army truck is what you need? I see yours is a '41... my truck is in rough shape, but the engine is free and when you crank it it pumps oil, but doesnt have spark. I havent done much with it because I have a '48 INT. that is in much better shape. Jojo
  19. when you check for play, I assume you are only moving the steering wheel and not the tires. I would expect the steering shaft u-joints were inspected during the steering box repair, as well as the drag link and tie rod ends? there is also a u-joint under the dash above the brake pedal.

  21. thanks Bob.. I really should have done more sooner. I have had a handfull of repairs to do on my house and trucks, and its been Hot as Hell here too. When I do this work I make sure I am mentally ready to stay in my shop for 4-6 hours and get things done.. Jojo

  23. I dont have a lot of DD knowledge, But my 2nd favorite engine is a 12.7 L. I know its not mechanical but to me it is a million mile engine and can do the work.. I wish I knew those engines as good as I do the Mack's that I build..
  24. I take great pride in my Builds.. I will never boast about ME, I will just put my best effort into it. The last tranny i did was a TRD 72. it will be behind the ENDT 673 that I am building along with this E-Tech.. another part of givin a damn is that I will buy the right tools. I paid $2,800.00 for that counter bore cutter because the last engine I did for the same friend/customer needed to be cut, and I was not about to hire that out since I know how to do it..
  25. Thanks Mech.. From the begining, I always took notes from tear down to re-assembly. I use my brain and micrometers, and measure the liner heights and counter bores as I diss assemble, then in this case I measured the shims that were on the liners, then I install my test liner to check protrusion again. then today, after I cut each one, I measured depth, and recorded it in my book, then ... just a few minutes ago, I did the math to determine the shim pack I will need for each cylinder, and wrote it down. I sent the info to my customer. He said he will buy the shims and send them to me.. Yes!!!! I give a Damn !!!! I have a stack of note books. Jojo
