  1. I just read through the post for the ''th'' time.. I dont see were you pulled the cluster out and checked the plugs and terminal, and also unscrew the mother board to inspect it for dust or dark soldered points, that would indicate a loose weld. I would like to see a picture of the installed cluster
  2. Hat's off to you for lasting 35 years... I burned out at 25 years.. Now I have a cushy city job, with my own truck, list of work to do, and a handheld radio.. and no one baby sit's me... I am currently trying to be a driver trainer for my dept. We need CDL drivers.
  3. starter celenoid on the firewall near the wiper motor..
  4. I bet this has most of the answers you are looking for. Jojo
  5. I don't know fuel pressure off the top of my head. What year engine? I have many E-7 shop manuals in my shop at home, and may be able to get you a picture of the page.
  6. Are you using a barring tool? Are you pulling the ratchet towards the oil pan?
  7. Exactly!! I bet I post that 2 dozen times a year.
  8. My guess is it has air ride on the tractor. They are prone to loosen up at the u- bolts. You may be able to see some shiny metal on the axle housing where it would be shifting. If you strike the ubilts with a hammer and they don't ring out, and they ''thud'' , they are loose. This will allow shifting of the axles.
  9. The one major difference I saw was, comparing a twin stick 107 trans, to a 200 series trans, which is air shift in the aux. Box. The twin stick offers several PTO positions and speeds.. Way better than the 200 series options..
  10. That was my question this whole time... How could they figure out 500+ names on Jan. 6 but cant tell who brought cocain into the white house.. BullSh!t !!
  11. PTO's are always turning when the truck is running.. When You shift the PTO into gear is when it goes to work..
  12. $3.59 + here in Salisbury.. (Gas),,, Diesel $4.09 ish.
  13. Ok.. rear mount uses the bottom counter shaft. I believe side mount does too. Therefore the same countershaft is turning, but PTO position is different
  14. Bob. All of the countershafts are turning at the same time, only when you select a gear and a range does the output shaft turn.. Happy Monday Bob...
  15. Mech I think you were able to spread dump as well as stationary. It was all in how you picked the gears and range. Or neutral if needed..
  16. The trucks I drove had X-107's..
  17. If they are the same as an END 673. I may have some..
  18. Mike1, that post is 5 years old. Check the engine grounds in front of the starter, and also, unplug the Duetch connector at the injection pump, and inspect for loose pins and cracked wires... You could, wiggle that plug while it's running to see if it cuts out and in, before you unplug it.. it should be secured in a yoke
  19. I believe you put the aux. Box in neutral, then you can select 1st-3rd depending on the PTO speed you need. It's been over 20nyears since I drove a 2 stick R/DM model dump truck.
  20. Hell, I have too many trucks as it is.. Thanks anyway..
  21. I'm curious, but it's really none of my business.... What is that Blue Oval worth??? I'm at $4,000.00 But really don't know.. It looks like a good truck to have for going to the hardware giants and the scrap yard, and the landscaping yards to get stone or mulch, etc:... anyway.. someone is gonna get a good work truck.. Jojo
