yes to buzzer box, the rope is a home made hand throttle. the other linkage to the rear a bit is the real secondary hand throttle.. ditch the rope.. do you still have the 'T' handle in the dash below the speedo?

The sharp ears tells me they go back 40+ years. I dont know when the smooth ears came out.

Mech, thats where I remember the buzzer to be. on the back of the triangular gusset above the clutch pedal.. I do know that in the 90's RD models and newer that I have worked on, it's name was changed to a Multi Buzzer.. it was so loud when using turn signals, that all of the drivers in my fleet would un-plug them.. then I would plug them back in when they were in my shop for the next PM.. The DOT Man doesnt like it when they are un-plugged..

Is the buzzer mounted to the triangular brace above the clutch pedal?

The old timer that taught me Mack stuff, showed me to clean the oarts with break clean, then use crazy glue to put the puzzle together. Then i was able to determine what was missing. Sometimes it helped to tell me where it came from.. Mech,, you remind me of him.. Earl Harnden... R.I.P.

You can use your favorite pen. oil, i use Kroil or PB Blaster..

soak the joints with Kroil, the twist and tap with a dead blow..

2007 is not an E-7.. and if it is an actuall 2007, it is an MP... if it turns out to be a Mack engine, if it does not have the EGR valve and the huge turbo, then it is a replcement for the boat anchor you currently have. -
I truly understand..... My first wife had that diagnosis. It was Devistating.. Do the best you can to keep it together.. Jojo

if the center section is good.. RE-USE IT !! Volvo is proud of that part, and it may be on national backorder.. put eyes on it !!

There is some space below the axle. The bull gear is very close to the bottom if the sump, and that thick oil can allow the bullgear to pick up chunks and bring them up to the spur shaft .

Any chance the low air bulb is swapped with another bulb socket? Like the highbeam, and the high beams are on?

I cant remember, but when you find it, you can pull a wire off to see if the low air light goes out. If it does, you will need a normally closed pressure switch with an 80 PSI pop pressure.

Well, you really need to pull the gear sets out. There will be chunks laying in the bottom. Where did the shaft snap? Did you drive a long time with it broken? I will post more after you post answers, pics of the axle will help, salvage yard axle just needs to be checked, look for sharp splines..

Check fuse 40 in the fuse box on the fire wall, top center below the wind sheilds . EECU fuse, 25 amps, clear in color.

I recently had to buy 4 deck dowels and a long butress bolt.. I spent 30 minutes (Behind the counter) showing the MACK parts guy how to find what I needed.. He was a good guy, just had no training on E-Tech engines.. The last series of MACK engines before the MP series.. It isnt like I was looking for parts for an AC Mack.. a frigging CH... E-Tech Engine By God !!!!
