  1. You need to clean ALL the grounds, starting at the batteries. I bet the ground bolt on the block in front of the starter is loose.. the svc. Bulletin for 9-2 has the steps. Or you can look it up in my posts and find the book I wrote on it.. :).
  2. forgive me with asking about valve adjustment several times.. To me adjusting valves on a Mack engine NEED's to be followed by the book.. I have done several Cat's and John Deere's, and you can run the valves on several cyl's with each position.. On a Mack, you position the engine ''up on #1'' and run the whole cylinder, then move to the next in the firing order.. You obviously have a good skill set. Jojo
  3. i have done that a few times with other tools, and I have a folder in the file cabinet for all the reciepts and owners manuals.. Amen My Brother!!!! In adition,,,, I havent paid for a Delco alternator or starter for 2 of my Chevy trucks, and got 2 batteries replaced as well, because I kept my receipts.. all this over the last 6 years.. I still have receipts on the ready.
  4. I expect a 'race war' and a gov. Take over before I die
  5. It has marks. Did you find one of those timing tools?
  6. it seems that you are at the least, 7 degrees off. you reckon, you will pull the timing cover and check it?
  7. is the stick jumping out of gear? or is there a grinding then goes in gear?
  8. What gear(s) is popping out? Is it only on the low range side? If you split the gear does it still pop out..?
  9. I bought the 2 cyl. Gas powered air compressor at Harbor Freight, 7 years ago for $1,200.00--- this year it is $1,800.00 before taxes..
  10. Turn the key on and listen for the click, then maybe you will find it.. you may have a small cube type relay in the fuse panel, but I don't remember what year they switched to that.
  11. it is a simple ECM.. back probes are not needed, just unplug it and look... check the condition of the wires on the back of both plugs looking for cracked insulation and frayed wires.. is the holder for the plug still mounted on the inj. pump? it needs to be there..
  12. nope.. you dont have it, i think what you have is econovance, and my knowledge on this is weak.. Sorry, I guess you have an electric plug on the injection pump..
  13. Your engine may be too old for that sensor.. there is probably a reversing relay in the intake with air going to it and a small line going to the Bimber valve on the front of the injection pump. It controls the rack based on boost pressure..
  14. Ok.. it's an ASET-I.. any chance you can post a short video so we can hear it.. 20 seconds should be enough..
  15. Copper washers... Sorry, forgot to say copper
  16. no need for the specs, I know what you have now. its either an AC or an AI engine.. what chassis is it?
  17. ok, Are you new to this series engine.. The lifters in this engine have ceramic rollers, and can crack with light shock loads. for example: when you are installing the rocker shafts, and a push rod isnt lined up correctly and ''pop's'' into place.. that shock can crack a roller. A compression test is a good idea. can you drop the oil pan and inspect the cam shaft.. if a roller is broken, it will be in the pan when you drop it..
  18. yep.. I just bought a metal car port.. $2100.00,, 12 years ago it was $700.00.... I also have 4 cubic yards of concrete coming today.. It will be just under $1000.00........ 6 years ago I paid $1800.00 for 12 yards..
  19. I am not a fan of the short Budd studs on any wheel, of course steer axles are a bigger concern.
  20. I beleive she knows what artificial intelegence is... Cau's she is it.. Im one 2 tawk, loook at my sperring..
  21. Yep, you brought it.....
  22. Yes sir,, But of course a skilled driver knows when to stop trying to raise the bed.. Used to be you could feel it when the cylinder is all the way up.. then you just move the lever to neutral.. Just sayin.. Hope you are having a good day... jojo
  23. Now Ladies and Gentlemen...... The Next President of the United States... Kamala Harris... Hip-Hip Hooray!!! I gotta go throw up..
