  1. ok, makes sense to me now.. I did figure that you knew where to look for the numbers, but I still had to ask.. Jojo
  2. Is there a tag on the front valve cover? Did you look for the transmission numbers behind the fill plug, also the numbers on the rears on the smooth part of the front of the carrier housing? Assuming it has Mack rears..
  3. That's sweet.. I like the seat set up, and the rear wheel.. and the color... Jojo
  4. I just looked at your bike again.. yep,, it is the same as mine.. mine runs great...
  5. I'm not sure.. I look forward to learning. I bet Geoff Weeks knows. He is a wealth of knowledge.
  6. Mine too. 2006.. 9,000 miles on it..
  7. Ouch.... that sucks.. and then have to add the cost of renting a room...
  8. Yep U.S. I.D. tag.... here in the states we use the last 6 numbers of the VIN. To get parts..
  9. I believe that electric cars would be good for city folks. It would certainly clean the air that settles in the streets. But for me and many others who use vehicles for work, I say,,, Heck No!! I wish the Gov. Would stop jamming junk down my/ our throat(s)...
  10. That's really cool. I wonder if it's an E-5 ?
  11. well, #6 is not bad, just have the turbo pipe in the way.. How about pulling it and swapping it with an easy one,,, say...... #2 and see if the code follows it.. if it does replace the EUP and the orings on the swapped EUP, and put the swapped one back in its original hole, to keep the cal. code the same.. Jojo P.S. USE NEW EUP BOLTS, THEY TORQUE TO 60 lbft.
  12. Beautiful !!!! Stock 1340??
  13. Rowdy...... I think we are brothers from other Mother's. !!! My everyday driver is homemade from several trucks.. Yeah sometimes I have to change the combination on it to get it to run better, but for what I do and my needs when I need a workhorse.. I got one..
  14. well, hopefully when you pull the head there isnt any damage.. That would be great.. if you dont have a valve, or cant get one, post the number from the valve head.. I may have some.. (used ones)..
  15. Sweet Ride!! Fatboy?
  16. I enjoy riding, but seem to be much more cautious now than ever, plus I dont ride enough to keep my skills fresh. I love riding my Sportster.. It's fun and agile. I actually feel safer on it than my Softtail....
  17. You guys are pushing me closer to selling mine. I wonder if I could get 10Kfor it..? My wife thinks I'm nuts..
  18. Your right Hippy... I had this engine about 2 years. It is for a B-61 Restoration. The guy that owns it stopped me on it it so I could build 5 other engines for him and do major work on his 3 super liners.. well I put everything away in my engine room, but this tote.. I had covered it with old bed sheets that I use to cover my work.. I'm just glad I remembered it.. so now I have a all that on and the timing gears as well.. Tomorrow I will continue. hope to get the injection pump on, and the front cover.. I still have to go to the owners shop to get a bunch of parts that he kept.. Jojo
  19. Bidenomics??? Is how to rape the working class, in order to provide freebie's for the non-working Low Class..
  20. I had the rocker shafts and pushrods all along.. I had a tote hidden behind 'stuff'.. In it was the parts I needed.. 👍 I still need the fuel lines though..
  21. Ayah, yes sahh..
  22. Buddy,, I know what you mean.. I'm glad you were looking up ahead, and all around you... unlike 1/2 the drivers of today. I have considered selling my Softail Duece, because of this issue.. Last Saturday my wife and I put 170 miles on her Tri-Glide. I don't ride anywhere near as much as I used too. I was very aware of my surroundings..
  23. It's gonna look like there's no way to remove the transmissions with the rods connected, but it WILL come out and go back in. You need to remove the plastic valance panel under the windshield. Remove the wiper motor to get to the crank bolt.. do you know how to set the wipers correctly and then hook to the motor? It's not rocket surgery.
