  1. yes, FJH makes a good point,, this Is why I was stressing the need to check the small air filter.. I have solved low power complaints many times with a fresh filter..

  6. FJH?/ I wonder if he can remove the VGT air cylider and lock the turbo vanes in the open position, then just watch the boost gauge. also woder if there is a 35 PSI relief valve that can be screwed into the intake manifold to act as a waste gate??
  7. did you lay under the driver side and look up to see the filter and controller? it is low on the engine, right in front of the starter..
  8. Oil, possible, check the air filter on the VGT controller. Have you located it yet?
  9. The VGT is the type of turbo you have, the air valve on the driver side is the controller, there is a small ECU on the back side of the EECU that controlls the VGT. There is a small spin in air filter at the valve, it needs annual replacement..

  12. did you measure the length of the new pin and the overall length of the steering knuckle's king pin boss'? are they the same? i'm just curious.. Matt makes a good point as well..

  18. I have never worked on a deleted ASET-C engine.. I wonder how it could run right wth the 2 sensors in the EGR crossover pipe, not giving correct readings? also, change the small air filter at the VGT acuator.. and check air pressure going to the VGT...

  20. that part number is a Volvo number.. do you have the panel? I think the part number is cast into the plastic panel.. I know I have bought them in recent years.. I'm curious... Jojo
