  3. Just curious... When did 'R' models use '612' and i assume '613' for drive axle designation. RD's are 686, 688, 690.. what is the difference..

  8. I have swapped out the 14" dog dish flywheel with the flywheel for the 15 1/2" clutch. They were good swaps, and an Eaton "Easy pedal" clutch fit nicely... Producing happy left legs for many drivers...
  9. I just realized its a real 612.. i didnt see the rear hub caps the first time I looked.. Sweet lookin Mack..

  14. Yes Mech... When driving forward, the rotation of the wheels kept the lugs tight.. I remember some older Mopars, and my 58 power wagon having left and right hand lug nuts.. Personally,,,, i like it...
  15. If the wire you are seeing at the actuator is white, then the plug and pin # is printed on the wire. IE: EJ-2 - 21... Which means Engine computer, plug J-2, pin 21... I hope this helps you
  16. That is great news. I bet the exhaust line from the knob was about 3' long and exhausted under the floor pan. Its hard to hear it.
  17. I know one thing... I dont give a damn what color their jacket or facial hair is.... I dont need to be stung.!!!!!
  18. I dont know, i assume so. Id like to think the end of the inner lug is stamped, R or L.

  20. Christ Allmighty, that looks real
  21. I started out on E-7's.. then all the ones afterwards. All Wet Liners.. I was taught to be very particular about setting new liners.. My Mentor Earl made sure I understood why procedures mattered.. Ok... I think im stepping on Larry's post now..
