  1. Heres another one of mine,,, If You ever use a fork lift to 'till your garden.... Youuuu Might Be a Redneck... And I do this,, really...
  2. Look's great, but what does the 'Pup' think?? I know mine have opinion's..
  3. Well..... I'm not going to be any help on that.. sorry bud..
  4. I have (2) 2/45 A/C systems, no wait... (3).. of them... I do have 6 small trucks on the road.. No... My Wifes A/C is always working, Mine however,,,, well,,, you know..
  5. So I base a lot of B.S. opinions off of T.V. Ad's... So Chevy is selling the ''TurboMax'' gas engine.. So, obviously, the new diesel engines are Sh!t boxes, and Electric so-called trucks cant' pull a damn thing.. So now they are re-promoting what actually works.. A gas powered engine.. Diesels have always performed up until pencil pushers mandated DPF's. and then they lost their minds in 2010 with DEF.. and so-on.... 2016 and so-on.. anyway... ''Let's Go Fossil Fuel's'' !!! they aint really fossil fuel's... The Earth Bleed's OIL !!!
  6. there is a unit that mounts under the right seat, and the cooling fan and condensor mounts on the frame rail. I t uses the A/C compressor on the engine... I have seen 3 of these in service. they work good but it blows on you from under the seat, so a small dash mounted fan ( just like any R model) does help.. I'm sorry that I dont have a picture of the Data Plate for one of them.
  7. I dont know if you have lifter sticks, I made a set... I got 3/8'' wooden dowels, then went to harborfrieght and bought several bottles of rare earth magnets, they have 3/8'' ones there. and i bout 12 of there small METAL squeeze clamps and a tube of 2 part epoxy.. I cut the dowels to 18'' then lightly sand one side of the magnet for the glue to stick too, and glue the magnet to one end, then put some electrical tape over the magnet leaving 2'' inches on each side of the dowel, then wrapped tape around the end of the dowel to secure the first strip of tape.. the only maintenance I have is to replace the tape between jobs.. If you dont use tape, the magnet may come off the dowel and stay on the lifter.. Not good.. in the second picture you will see plastic clips, they sucked, so I bought metal ones.. but you can see the results.. jojo
  8. I'm not as good on these as I want to be, but the few that I did, I would bring the #1 piston to TDC and make sure im up on #1 by looking at the #2 exh. rocker arm. it will be 'rocked'.. then I check the timing marks and grab a paint pen and start highlighting the marks. as far as the injection pump gear, I match mark the gear to the pump drive gear on the cam gear, and then match mark 2 opposite pump gear bolts to the slot they are in. I mark one on the inside of the pump gear and the other on the outside on the pump gear so I dont get up+down confused.. I tend to make more marks than needed. make a match mark on the crank gear and the engine block, just in case the crank turns.. I hope Mechohaulic gets in on this one.. He's OLD!! I mean Really OLD !!! LIke Cranky OLD... and knows these engines much better than me.. He is a wealth of knowledge, Glenn Akers was called home this year, he would have been a great one to learn from too.. So your stuck with Mech.... and a few others.. jojo

  10. Were gonna get the band back together boy's...
  11. Well,, Hello there stranger......
  12. I swear I worked on some MR's and LE's with an air throttle.. I just figured it was a cab over thing.. However, I am away from those trucks for many years now...
  13. Where's Onyx?? Vmac and Mackpro probably know how to approach this one.. and then you add FJH... and well...... It's fixed..
  14. Pull the cluster, and look over to the left on the cab frame. You should see a few black wires. Remove the star washer and throw it away, then clean the paint off the frame, and trim any extra heat shrink glue off the eyelets.. there is another set of grounds below the fuse panel on the right side.. CL's are great trucks...
  15. Check the output yoke. See if it's loose..
  16. Do you have an air powered throttle?
  17. Thanks TJC,, It actually was delicious.. I poured my wifes country baked beans with onions over it and ate more than I should have.. I also packed one for my lunch tomorrow at work.. just sayin'....
  18. Well I just pulled the shoulder off the cooker.. It looks good from my view.. it's resting on the stove right now... 170 when I pulled it, figure it will keep cooking and be tender when eatin' time comes.. 🤞 ok time to put the foil cover back on..
  19. can you clean the old seal and post a picture of it and the seal number??? If I can get info I will post it for you.. Hell, i'll buy the seals and send them to you..
  20. ok.. there wont be a dowel hole.. I have seen them on later models.. just do like your doin' take measurements. do you have an ''Allied bearing co.'' near you.. If you have the old seal, there should be a part number on it.. Allied is pretty good at getting seals. I just re-built a ''Roots'' blower, and they were able to get the seals I needed....
  21. do you mean the steer axle??? What year model? If it's the steer axle, there is a dowel pin hole in the spindle to secure the inner wear ring.. no biggie, just see if it's there. jojo
  22. Hell Yeah!!! when I learn how to get a good slow rolling bed of coals I will cook some Babybacks.. I have 2 racks in the freezer..
  23. I figured it was a bit of babysittin' and yes to ugly stuff in the yard.. I won't bore us with more pics of my stuff, ,, well maybe 1 more.. redneck tool.. This is my motor grader... homemade 9' blade... I have actually cleared snow off my street with it, up until a neighbor bitched because I made a winrow in front of his rental house... it was less than a foot tall..
  24. How the Hell does Hunter Biden have a T.V. Show on Newsnation?? Or anywhere
