  1. Im surprised there are still coins left over..
  2. I guess I can send you a text when the next one releases..👍🍻
  3. Dammit, Mackpro,,, i had to squint to see the double u-joints at the steering box.. CV-713 sounds right, ASET-IEGR as well..
  4. The E-TECH has a few more tests.. i suggested pulling the belts at first on a cold engine so that if you find it is not a compression leak, you can move on to other things. Puling belts is easier than changing the thermostat. Is the engine temp running at 180-185? Without issue ? Before i go into big work, i/we will try to keep it basic. This issue was a thorn in the side of the E-Tech, as well as us mechanics. What kind if shape is the air compressor in? In some cases, the compression issue was the compressor, which can be ruled out with a bypass hose or capping the coolant lines to the compressor, you can slowly flow water through the compressor head with a a garden hose if you think you need to extend run tome while testing. In this test , the belts will be back on so that the water pump will be in play.. i will post more as needed to respond.
  5. Take the belts off the water pump with the engine cold, and start the engine. Let it run a while to rule out a compression leak.
  6. Its in the first buletin he posted.. along with pressure testing the EGR cooler.
  7. Heinzy buddy... I do believe you got it right again.. 😁
  8. Oh boy..... The ole pushing cooling deal.... I suggest you go to the dealer portal and download the service buletin....
  9. Its a sweet looking truck... You did good again. I may come see it at Colfax next year, if you go again..
  10. I had to look a little closer at the blurry picture. I bet its a CHN or CXN. And yes,, ASET-CEGR engine.
  11. Ok. I can look later, i have a B-61 book..
  12. The old one is an E-tech. The new one is an ASET-IEGR i dont see the external EGR parts. The new one is a 2004-2006. The truck looks to be a CHN or CXN -613. It was hard to see the oil cooler in the picture, and the centrimax is later then an E-Tech.. i missed that
  13. So much winning... So much winning 😁
  14. 23 years in the making.. its sad..
  15. Maybe your name Redeyedog would give it away. I watched a movie called Red Dog, from your homeland.. 🍻
  16. Oh.. well sir, i didnt take in to consideration that you are outside if the U.S. please forgive me... I have zero experience on your truck, i would just be probing and testing the switches to understand which one does what. Jojo
  17. GW is the man for the job.. pay attention.
  18. Ok. Nice and clean.. the breather is probably fine, you would have had dripping from the hose if you had an issue there. I really like how clean you work.. I know others agree.
  19. I have some older books. However, i have very little knowledge on your engine. What year is the engine, and truck model, i have about 7 older Mack manuals, and i hope i have what you need.. JoJo
  20. Sorry about all the questions, but diagnosing this way, isnt always easy for me..
  21. I know its too late now,,, but are you absolutely sure the elbow mounted to the engine isnt restricting the oil, as if there was too much RTV that squeezed into the port. Another thought, have you cleaned the steel wool filter in the overboard breather.? Is it breathing good?
  22. This is an old . Post.. do you have a 7-2 code ? Have you done any diagnostics yet. This may be an easy one, we will need to know the issue you are having, in some detail.. Jojo
  23. Nice and clean. Are you adding more RTV at this point ? I am still concerned about how much oil was pumped out. I am thinking there is a bit too much play in the turbine shaft.
  24. I have done that before.. when a new elbow wasnt available .
