  1. Too add to the idea of removing the cam gear on the engine.. When the time comes to put it back on, you have to bake the gear in an oven to around 450-475 degrees, then quickly install it and 'seat-it' on the cam (cam standing up with thrust washer in place).. there will be know way to hold the cam and keep it from pushing into the block and the trust washer will fall and get between the gear and cam, also take the chance of pushing a cam lobe into a lifter roller. Yours is a 2002.. It may have ceramic roller lifters.. The lifter roller WILL crack.....
  2. 3 degrees.. You may be able to find a shim plate for the center bearing mount that will be a 3 degree shim. I will be in my shop in a couple hours. I will look in my drive shaft book for info. Jojo

  15. The torque procedure you used is what I was taught a long time ago, on spoke wheel hubs.. jojo
  16. There is switch on top of the tranny with 2 wires.. there is also a fuse in the panel under the hood. #41 I beleive

I owned a '99 Century for a short time, and drove quite a few of them.. Yes it's a plastic truck, but in todays world, I bet it is affordable.. Opinion's are alway's welcomed..   24. NO Teflon Tape on any Hydraulic fittings.. Gasoila brush-on or Permatex brush on.. Tape is good, In it's world, but not here. if a piece of it cuts loose or blocks flow,,, you Will! have a problem.. I brush PTF sealer on and wipe the excess off and It's good to go
