  1. Organ meat?? Like liver?
  2. You are very kind... may I suggest, when you drain the coolant, you remove the entire petcock from the lower rad. pipe, drain the coolant, and then, put a garden hose in the top tank on a good flow that seems like it will fill the jackets with some flushing pressure., and flush it clean.. just for kicks you can put a clean bucket under the drain hole, ( I bet it is directly above the axle beam) and watch the water as it goes in the bucket to see that the black crap is flushed out.. if you really want to get nutty, you can remove the thermostats and put the cover back on, and buy new stats, for when you are done..
  3. You are my Older Brother from another Mother..
  4. its the second pair of the same sandals,, the last pair had all 4 straps screwed on.. lasted almost 2 years..

  10. It's good to see you are working on that DaMn Mack.. :).
  11. Those rears were born with 75-90 syn. Also the rear has 2 places to drain oil, and the front has 3 places. I would pull the big side cover on each after you drain the top reduction and inspect the bevel gears... When you're fill them, you start at the power divider on the front, then the top reduction, then the bowl. Rear , start at top reduction, then the bowl. 5 gallons should do both.
  12. you will never find the great info that MackPro provides for free anywhere but here..
  13. Holy Crap.. You are SO RIGHT !!!!
  14. Buddy, I have forgotten about all of it, but if I was there with it in my hand, I bet I could navigate it.... jojo
  15. I'm impressed that you found a Pro Link 9000.. that's what I cut my teeth on back in 2000...
  16. Ricky. The front diff. Will have a longer power divider with an air line going to it. There is a shift fork housing there. The picture of the front diff. Doesn't show the whole thing, but looks like it does NOT have a locking power divider. The rear axle is the main drive axle, the front is supposed to come in when a rear wheel looses traction.. it doesn't work very well. Did you have a stick or a rock stuck in the right rear slak adjuster, that held the brake on.
  17. those are codes for the Malf lights.. are the bulbs burnt out? did you see a Malf light before plugging in? or did you just plug in?

  19. oh hell.. a 308 39 MT here was $325.00 a few years ago here in N.C. USA
  20. That's great, now there are no burrs to possibly interfere with the starter gear..
  21. I know Ford parts cost more than Chevy parts, but that seems a bit high for a starter. Especially a re-man.. I see you had a core charge..
  22. I understand and that truck has a transfer case to deal with.
  23. The coolant is red ELC. The filter kits that the dealership has, comes with 2 bags of coolant conditioning powder.. maybe take a look at that kit and the instructions.. jojo
  24. I am struggling with this one... You are using a scanner to look at a mechanical Mack E-7... you say it has low power and black smoke. you say that you checked all the turbo parts and piping.. checked the timing?? how did you check inj. pump timing? This engine is one that you take for a test drive and feel the issue. and its one that you can run in the shop and determine fuel issues.. I wish I was there to work with you as well as a bunch of guys here would love to be there.. we used to just use gauges to find fueling issues.. of course, I dont know everything and never worked with modern computers for V-mac-I or II..
