  2. Yes sir.. 😁
  3. For Sure.... She put it on there years ago..
  4. I sometimes wonder if Volvo, stopped teaching parts guys how to look up Mack parts? And now the parts counter is all new people with no knowledge, just Volvo training, (sculpting).. I experienced some of it in the service dept. When I tried to go back to Mack about 6 years ago..
  5. Thank you Bob.. 😊
  6. Yeah what FJH said...
  7. I remember having to wait for Mack to authorize an EECU dowlnoad.. There was a confirmation number that had to be entered, to get a green light to continue. we would download what was on the existing EECU, and save it to a file, then use that file within V-Mac programming, combined with PTT, and flash the EECU.. (Before PTT we could use Mack software alone to get the job done), Then when the flashing was complete and confirmed through PTT, I would go in and look at the list of parameters, and re-set the owners settings back to original. So to the guys that ask if MackVo has an after market set-up... I dont know, and I doubt it... just my F'd up opinion.. Jojo
  8. MarkT,,, I can picture how it's done, NOW,, That is awesome.. I almost want to flatten a tire and knock it off the bead, just to try it...
  9. Hey Bud's.. I finished fixin' up my wife's truck today.. All new light assemblies... The truck is well maintained. 2004,, 265,000 miles, and runs like a top... its an LS-5.3L, Z-71 package.. and of course it is Her's... (My Boss).. So I make sure it's RIGHT.. Just a little ''Shop Talk''... Jojo all the lights totaled $175.00 from Amazon.. Good deal..
  10. Yeah, I wanted a 'Golden Tool' many years ago too, but it was $650.00... But after a while of doing tires most days for 2 years, I decided to say 'NO!', I did enough big work on the road with my business, tire's and tire inventory was a No-Go.. To see one for $135.00. Is a good deal for a 'Golden Tool' copy..
  11. There would be a 'G' or GK in the vin..
  12. I wonder if V-Mac III systems are even taught any more at MackVo? I used to use Mack software with PTT, to flash a V-Mac III. EECU. There was a handful of steps..
  13. Throttle position sensor??
  14. I'm just watchin'
  15. Is it a 4WD? I did this and more to an '06 F-250 SD 6.0L.. It wasnt that bad, I did axle assemblies and brakes with calipers.. I torched out the old ball joints, and my Harbor Freight 20 ton press, easily pressed the new ones in.. I hope I psyched you up,
  16. It's Wednesday afternoon at 1.
  17. Is the part number on the EECU still readable? The base program in an EECU will let it run..
  18. Just install the pump with a new gasket, no timing needed..
  19. I understand the stress... Trust me!! I have had to build many engines, and I know what it costs, and the anticipation that the truck owner has.. Good job!!.. You came to the right web site... We are a great team of guy's that offer our knowledge freely.. Stay in touch... Jojo
  20. any chance you have a video of the leak in the fuel pump?
  21. Hell yeah,,, now dig deep... That pump was $900.00 a few years ago and out of stock.
  22. I'm grabbing at straws.. This one is hard for me, without being there.. I'm sorry.. I would ask if there is an adverse condition on the road/terrain, that may be causing an issue, also, did you ever have speed sensor codes.. I know you said no stored codes, but didnt say when they were cleared last.. Keep us posted,, jojo
  23. Check the front engine mounts under the stantion. See if the rubber has disintegrated. Also look behind the balancer to see if the 18mm bolts are loose. I doubt they are, but...
  24. Since you have the pump off. Leave the filter on it tight, and put an air tool nipple in the inlet of the pump, and plug the other end, and pressurize the pump with 70psi. And see if it leaks around the shaft seal.. please wear a face shield when doing this.. jojo
