Yes sir, TJC.. I agree !! I am not a long term driver, just 5+ years.. But as a mechanic who Gave a Damn!! I made sure the trucks were safe and legal, and running good.. I have 'Served' some of these demanding newbies.. meanwhile the 60- 70 year old driver's were just 'Chilled'.. They new I was going to hook 'em up, and they would drive the crappiest spare truck to keep makin money.. I have seen male princess's just clock out rather than drive an older truck.. How they got away with it,,, I dont know.. jojo

In my experience Bob.. When Guy's like you and my Wife, say that they welcome the automated tranny's, I give them respect.. My concern is how weak todays drivers are.. Not their fault, it's the feminine trucks they are taught and forced to drive... Driving a manual truck is a SKILL, and it allows the driver to learn the truck and feel how it goes over the road.. To me that is very important.. Just my 2 cent's.. Oh crap, I'm running out of pennie's.. be right back... Jojo

Well, I got my truck back together.. My work is not pretty.. If I had a lift, new metal, and better welders, I could have done a bit better.. I had a bunch of scrap steel on my rack and used what I had.. Kinda low budget work here.. But!! when I test drove it I took it on the bumpyest road near me, and there was not one single creeking sound or cracking sound like it used to do.. My guess is it will last at least 5 more years. maybe by them I will find a good frame, and just swap it out.. I was reluctant to post pics because my work looks crappy. on the otherhand, this is my reality... 🤣

I say yes if it is, as well serviced as stated, and if it is, well serviced this issue should have been seen as it progressed, and not an ' all of a sudden'.. Of course, I do not know who is driving and how he/she is driving.. if this was an E-6 or E-7, with real work and age in it's history,, no sweat,,keep squirting oil, til you need to do more to fix it.. but a 4 year old MP-7 with 190k??? dunno.. How many hours? and does it idle at 650 it's whole life?... jojo

Just curious... Can you pull the pipe off the back of the turbo to see if it is oily and such? Thats a lot of oil to lose with no obvious signs.. I would also think the DPF would have been clogged quickly.. Is there not excessive blow by? I know you said the CCV was clean. I see the mileage is low.. I'm curious, just because.... Jojo

yes.. leave the fuel temp sensor pluged into the 'T', just save a 1-7 code and a timing adjustment for the EUP's.. no real big deal, just better to not add a reason to through a code.. I have done this dozens of times.. I have a seperate tool box with the correct fittings just for this test.. Jojo

there is a fuel pressure regulator at the out put on the fuel gallery near the #4+5 cylinder.. Have you checked fuel pressure with a hand held gauge? Not a computer!! Before you throw EUP's at it, check the wires to all of them to see if they are chaffed against the block and each other,,, (very common).. sometimes they fray and sre connected by 1/2 or less of the strands.. jojo

I just watched a news story on Egg production and prices.. U.S. avg. is $4.25/doz.. everything needed to raise chickens is at least doubled in short time according to the Egg Farmers in the news story.. So all of us are paying $2.00+/doz. more than last year.. But somehow we have Billions of dollars in military aid for a country that is probably not our friend.. I guess the Biden Marriage to Ukrain is still alive....... I can only imagine what it would be like if that money was used here to improve our supply chains, and distribution. Maybe use a few bucks to finish the wall, that is letting in a new low priced work force that is going to push us AMERICAN's out of our U.S. job's. ..... I Don't know.... Maybe I'm nuts.. A faulty turn signal switch/wand can cause issues like that, and tail light wires that are shorted together and so on.. I agree to it being a backfeed.. jojo
