  1. I assume you have air ride and want to know the correct ride hieght? do you have AL 405 susp.?
  2. I have no idea how the pictures of some of my trucks made it into my posts.. How do I delete them, and put one that I would rather have on there ??
  3. Uhhh, dont know how my truck pictures got there.. 🤔
  4. Dammit Man !!! 🧠 Power..... 🍻
  5. When you locate the acc. Relay, you can switch it with the headlight relay. If I remember right, it is the same style. Then you can road test to see if the issue is still there.. I'm glad that there was an improvement.. another thing we have done before was to make a short ground strap, and attach it the the EECU housing under a mounting nut, then run it to the engine block..
  6. Did you happen to check the accessory relay in the cab fuse panel?
  7. On the ground bolt in the engine block, is 2 thin eyelets. They are for the engine harness. Did you take that all apart and clean each eyelet?
  8. Has the boost sensor been replaced? If so, was the correct part number installed? Also, have you replaced the little air filter for the VGT actuator?
  9. Yes to the valve under the cab. The hard plastic lines can develope an air leak. The crimp can loosen.. also, check the tank vent tubes and clean fuel caps if they are vented.. The dual suck dual return set up is crap.. I think freightliner had a better setup and they had shut off valves.. jojo
  10. To me... You make a lot of sense Mech.. I think I know what I will do.. I bet I go early retirement, and make side money building engines and trannys.. and selling parts at NAPA, to the guys that need to see and older guy behind the counter... Jojo
  11. behind the cluster to the left is a 6mm bolt,,(10mm wrench) clean them, scrape off the heat shrink glue from the eyelts and throw the start washers away.. same approach at the fuse panel, right side in the cab,, then...... clean the big ground bolt on the engine block in front of the starter,,, (15/16" wrench) if it is loose,, you found the issue.. there is ground cable from that bolt to the frame straight off of it behind the steer tire.. clean the frame ground.. (15 mm wrench). on the firewall next to the starter relay is a black ground breaker..(13mm wrench) clean the ends, check for dry rot and cracks.. then the starter grounds..(3/4" wrench) I assume you checked the battery cabels.. If there is a fused link on the batts,, check it out.. (9/16" wrench) .. Keep in touch... Jojo
  12. Loose ground's.... do you know where they are?? in the cab and outside the cab..
  13. Thank you Hayseed... I looked at it.. I will let it lie for right now.. I'm glad it's not a scam.. I had too many in the last week, so I'm a little gun-shy.. Jojo 🍻
  14. I assume there is an electric plug on the governor housing? It is a duetch plug.. they can develope loose connections, especially if they are not secured in the yoke that is bolted there
  15. There has been more of them sent to me lately than ever.. Just another thning to be on top of.. I guess........ Jojo
  16. I dont know that model, so I dont know the engine, howerver, if is an E-6,,, PAI has short and long shaft water pumps, you will have to swap the pulley. No biggie.. I have done 3,, E-6's in the last 18 months.. jojo
  17. It seems to be the case lately.. I got a strange text from an Amazon Imposter today.. I do not have any current orders.. I got rid of it..
  18. New fuel lines are always a good idea, however at around $135.00/ea. you are looking at around $850+.. So what I have done many times, ( with my customers permission to try it) is.... I use 320 Emory cloth in my finger tips and rotate the ball ends in my fingers until the groove is gone or nearly gone, then flush them out with brake clean. I follow the torque conditioning procedure, and I usually get them to seal good.. sometimes one or two want to stay bad, so I replace them. Not to take away from Onyx's correct statement.. Just offering a way to save a few buck's. Keep in touch.. jojo
  19. it came from (admin@bigmacktrucks.com)... The 'B' in 'Big' was NOT capitolized... It sure tried to look good..
  20. I get 'Downloads' from ,,,,, mypowermanuals.com..... Then I put them on 2 seperate cd's, and load a copy into my shop laptop..
