  1. I'm glad you laughed Mech... The switch looks like a brake light switch, but not as new looking as the ones I have replaced in recent years.. I guess he can unplugg a wire to see if the brake lights go out..
  2. All I know is on R models, (can't tell you how far back it goes) the brake light switch is on the firewall, and hot all the time with no insulation. Yes, I have hit it when removing the rear valve cover.. with all the different switches now-a-days,,. There are options.. the single pole grounding type switch is a great idea for the low air buzzer.. as far as it being a new style switch..... What year is the first year of NEW stuff? I know sometimes I forget how far back some things go, and then I comment...
  3. You don't have to go to Texas, to get Texas Pete,. Paul... You need to go to Winston-Salem N.C. That's were it's from.. let me know when you get here, I will drive up and visit you . Jojo
  4. That's the brake light switch. They are hot all the time.. can you find an air supply that is before the tractor protection valve to install the low air buzzer. ?

  13. Looks like theres a couple good door handles and a key hole, and maybe a vent window frame.. Maybe a good door stricker and lock mechanism,,, so lets be nice... she's a beaut..
  14. I hope these pictures help you.. I clearly forgot that tranny has an internal range cylinder.. I was thinking about some 300 series tranny's.
  15. I seem to be at a loss, outside of a bad oring or swapped lines. Im going to get the book and see if there is a plumbing picture that I can post for you..
  16. So I was curious about this headlight topic.. Yes TJC, LED headlights are legal.. The D.O.T./N.T.S.B. says that any headlight can be no brighter than 3000 Lumens.. I figured I would post this, in case someone needs the info before converting their truck.. Jojo
  17. did the original shift knob have a blue range button? That is a 2070 shift knob in the picture. I forget if there is a different knob for the 2090.. I will go to my book tomorrow morning and try to find the trouble shooting guide.. Jojo
  18. seems odd, I assume you hooked the spaghetti lines up to the knob correctly? when you replaced the shuttle valve, did you inspect the little plunger for wear? I forgot to ask... will it range shift? Damn, I'm getting rusty.... I need to hit the books..
  19. Ok Bullheaded... Im not in touch with the new stuff like I used to be.. 👍
  20. many of these Xenon HID bulbs have little electric fans on them to keep them cool.. OEM bulbs for new cars can be around $100.00 + each..
  21. are you guys sure that they are not HID headlights.. either way... very bright...
  22. the air cylinder at the top of the rear case will cause this air leak. you can check it by removing one of the lines to see if air is by-passing.. Replacing the orings and gasket is easy. you do have to remove the top cover on the rear case in order to remove the yoke bolt, then the whole unit pulls out of the rear case, and you can re-ring it on the bench.. it is reccomended to replace the yoke bolt, of course you can put some patch lock on it and put it back if the end of it is not deformed.. jojo
  23. This is what we have around here.. I guess it's "Multi-lingual" jojo
  24. Yep... I get it..too... when a truck comes in the shop 'Hot' and has to go right out, no dicken around,, sometimes it just get's 10 seconds of pumping and out the door.. kinda like a whore...
