  1. before you spend money... you can unplug them and inspect for defects. If no defects are found, you can use a sewing needle, ( if you dont have a probe kit) to tighten the female terminals in the EECU plug.. Do not try to bend the male pins in the EECU. This will also give you the oportunity to see if any of the terminals in the plug have loosened up and pushed back out of the way.. A magnifying glass and some patience are good tools to have for this.. jojo
  2. My Brutha' from Anotha' Mutha'.. I'll buy Yo albums....
  3. E.v.'s have a place in cities.. that is where I give support. If an E.V. isn't conducive to your life style or needs, then you should be allowed (because we are a Free Nation) To drive a real vehicle, of your CHOICE..... just my opinion..
  4. Mine has a mechanical pump on the left front corner of the block. Cam driven. As far as cost of rear wheel cylinders, mine were $375.00 shipping included. Jojo
  5. Mark.. a few years ago, we were asked to lower, and then remove our Rebel Flags in the infield at Charlotte Motor Speedway.... Yes WOKE.... yes after Dale died in that minor wreck, things changed.. and then out of knowhere Jr. started to win races,.. it's all rigged.. just like when Kyle Larson came back after being called a Racist, and won the CHAMPIONSHIP that year.. No different than the RIGGED vote for King Biden.. 'keepin it real right there'.. jojo
  6. so to keep this on target,,, it's people like Biden that make this crap happen..... How'd I do??
  7. Mistakes will happen... It just happened to be a HUGE one.. When I watched the video, I tried to put his shoes on... I started to get nervous.. I cant imagine being in that position.. just my 2 cent's.. jojo
  8. O.D. me being a Yankee from Maine, I didn't have a track any closer than in N.H. when I came here I was in AWW!! I was an infield camper, and loved it, for 10 years.. then the crying started,. Then Kyle Larson was deemed a Racist, then a noose was found on a garage door pull rope... I wrote C.M.S. an E-Mail as to why I will never camp, or go to another race again... I would spend over $1000.00 for each race.. now that money is going somewhere else.. C.M.S. still sends me offers to come back... F'em..... They went WOKE... Jojo
  9. Thanks Vlad.. yeah I think a neatly placed choke cable in the grill would be cool, and probably get some conversations started when I take it to a show..
  10. Well,, $2k U.S. sounds good.. I know some say that tranny is just OK.. I had a fleet of 28 trucks, half of the Macks were 15210C and 16210C, and all the Frieghtliner's were too. My point is, they held up pretty good, given we had many drivers. I did a lot of synchro replacements in them, along with range fork snap rings, shift rail bolts and shuttle valves, but the main box held up really good.. Just my 2 cents... Jojo
  11. Yes. Points and a condenser in the distributor.
  12. I could keep it 6 volt, for some reason I thought it would be better, and cheaper to maintain. I already installed 12 volt headlights. Hate to waste that 50 bucks:) I do believe the engine ran better with the 12 volt battery instead of the 6 volt battery that's in it now.. I guarantee I wasnt the Mad Guy.. jojo
  13. Ok.... I figured out how to do this with my phone.. LTK... This one's for you.. this is where I got the wheelcyls. Jojo
  14. LTK.. I can't post the picture of the place where I got the wheel cylinders right now, but I did post them on a thread I started about the wheel cylinders for my '48.. can you search it out?
  15. As far as going to 12 volt, I guess is because of replacement parts that are easy to get. I also don't have a bunch of money to buy the 6 volt parts.. I am going to try to clean my starter and inspect it. It has some rust.. we'll see.. jojo
  16. Yes Vlad. It is a low compression gasser.. it is set up for hand cranking, I just don't have a crank handle.. so I will be making one. I expect it to be just fine. It runs good and starts right up. I wonder if I should run a choke cable to the grill so I can choke it up front.. what do you think??
  17. no ,,, seriously.. I am going to make a crank handle so I can start it from the front.. Of course I have never cranked a car or truck like that, so my learning curve is wide... jojo
  18. funny you should say that... I was thinking ablout making one.. Hell,,,, Why not?? just hope I dont break a thumb..
  19. From my view.. That tranny is very common and not expensive to repair.. as far as its value, I cant say.. here in the U.S. I could see selling it as-is for maybe $1,000.00... I guess, i'm saying that you wont sell it and have enough money to retire...
  20. I aint goin' nowhere... I would miss you guy's... air start isnt in the budget. this truck does not have an air compressor. Hyd. brakes, which I just fixed with new lines and wheel cylinders and shoes. It will be fine.. I just have to take care of the trucks that cart my wife and I around first.. thanks bud... jojo
  21. That's good, that you figured it out..
  22. Yes it was stolen!! That is what makes me mad . They will do it again. I don't believe he won, and never will.. 80 million votes my ASS...
  23. so true Bob.. I have the '48,, 2 years now.. I have gotten some good things done, but I obviously have to keep my daily drivers, driving. It's all good.. jojo
  24. No good news yet on getting a starter.. However, 3 of my trucks went down since yesterday. I have 2 of them back on the road, the 3rd. one is going to be a bit pricy, so the '48 is going to have to wait a bit.. Jojo
