  1. Here is the tool list right from the horses mouth.. 2 copies to be sure you can read it.. T-300 tool list. you dont need all of them.. but if you plan to buy all of them.... a new tranny is cheaper..
  2. 'Rubber Duck' Here is my 2006 Softail Duece with a Custom paint job, and lots of chrome. I was pissed when the young'n "Rolled Coal" and covered me and the bike in soot.. It did blow off of me, and I was wearing a full face helmet.. But it was total B.S. Like I said, I keep an eye out for lifted diesel pick/ups.. Just sayin'.... Jojo
  3. Yes that truck could have the cube looking relay
  4. Yeah... After getting smoked on my custom Harley by one of those fake country boy pick ups, I have learned to look ahead for them and not stop near them whenever possible..
  5. The tool numbers are printed in the Mack service manuals. Do you have a T-300 series book?
  6. I think we scared him away
  7. Mech.. I have had the opinion for years that the truck buyer of today is the R+D for the truck makers, to help develope driverless trucks.. it sucks..
  8. The shims at the Bimber valve, right Mech.?
  9. FJH.. you got me thinking.. doesn't 4515 Q, shoes an 4707 Q Plus, use different hardware? Maybe they got shoes in one box and the wrong hardware in the other box..
  10. I had too.. I couldn't delete any photos. Even Hayseed tried to guide me through it..
  11. Mech. The Power leash actually works good.
  12. A 2005 Granite, CV-713, with a Mack engine, will have an ASET-I EGR.... ( Application Specific Engine Technology - Internal EGR). It's E-7 on steroids..
  13. I know,,, I'm sorry.. at this point, I guess we will just pray that someone figures out your issue.. It's hard to do this one from 1200 miles away..
  14. so there are no local shops that know how to work on big trucks? I get the part about being deleted... That started years ago, I used to work at a Mack dealership.. we didnt touch them.. sorry...
  15. Yes sir.. I get it.. Im cool with what I have going on... hell the truck is 75 years old. it runs good and I bought NEW parts to get the brakes working.. so yeah,,, i'm good.. 🍻
  16. yes Mark.. thats true, but the rub mark means that when the yellow button is pushed in and the rod pulls back, there is stress on it.. then each brake pedal push, just grinds away at the rod.. just sayin'... I know you are very smart about this, I value your thoughts...
  17. did you like that excuse? TJC... actually, I think it is correct, I work with 4 guys under the age of 30,, They need answers right away, but dont understand the answer, then they go to the phone to get a so-so answer.. anyway,,, I think I just sidetracked this one too...
  18. Sometimes CRS is because we know SOOOO much stuff, we can't process the answer quick enough for the speedy ones that have less stuff in their brains... Just sayin'...
  19. I forgot to ask you to check the condition of the fuse box on the middle of the firewall.. check all the fuse sockets for corroasion.. Is this an E-Tech (V-Mack III) or do you have an injection pump? (V-Mac II)
  20. that noise is the acc. relay.. it looks like a lawn tractor starter relay.. How about you stop spending money, (with respect) and just clean all the grounds, including the ground breaker on the firewall, there is a major ground on the block in front of the starter, and it also goes to the frame behind the left steer tire. there are also grounds behind the dash at the left corner and the right side by the fuse panel... clean all of these and the eyelets.. then retest.. are you having issues with turn signals not working right?
  21. So, I have mixed opinions on ''Rat Rod's''.. As for me,, I love my truck but dont make enough money to buy much, so I collect parts, and I beleive GOD puts them there for me to find.. Take these little beautie's for example.. The Heat shields are NEW take offs, the owner wanted chrome, and said throw those P.O.S. shields in the trash!! OK!!... the wire in the cabinet is good wire that I pulled from high voltage control panels at my City Job, It will be my new wiring for the whole truck. The heavy wire was from 480 volt A/C,, the light wires are 10 and 12 gauge,, and the Kerker Exh. pipe is what was in our scrap dumpster today... It will be the stack for my KB-7.. I have been collecting parts for over a year.. I know that some folks wont agree with my method's. But my wallet sure does... I really need to get back on it, I have been fixing my everyday trucks lately.. jojo
  22. ok, V-Mac II has a 5-7 second delay after turning the key off.. that is normal.. the black relay looking thing in the picture is a ground breaker, it looks rough. Clean the contacts. do the same for the red one next to it. also, it sounds almost like the ignition switch is bad. There is also an accessory relay below the ash tray, it can also cause these issues.. Jojo
  23. That rubbed spot on the push rod tells me that the slack adjuster may be to short, or the chamber is not mounted in the correct holes for the slack adj. Length. When the brakes are released the clevis would have to be angled upward, therefore rubbing on the hole in the brake chamber. Paul, it does look like it is passed 90 degrees..
  24. Thanks bud. I'm proud of it..
  25. There is a tab for it.. I forget where, and I can't see it on my phone.. I think it's in a drop down menu on the home page
