  1. Tom,,,, I totally understand how that could happen.. I had an issue myself a few months ago, as you know.. Sometimes, we get blindsided by the 'everyday activities' I am glad that you are are ALIVE.. My wife reminds me, that She could have found me 'Dead in the yard'.. My guess is that Ms. Zina (after schooling you) is taking great care of you.. Jojo
  2. Freight train,,. For what it's worth, I have several predator engines, and all of them start and run really good.. I have a 7500w generator with the 420 predator engine.. it runs my house very good. I can go to bed at night knowing it will stay running.. They are around $800.00 with today's pricing.. I paid $600.00,, 5 years ago.. jojo
  3. Gauge readings look good at idle... Thermostats are easy to replace on that.
  4. The engine brakes on that engine were weak from the start. There were a few updates to try to improve them.. maybe get the valve adjustment checked, and set the engine brake gap to .021" ,.
  5. did you check the fuse in the EPDM on the fire wall next to the steering column?
  6. pull the DRL module out of the fuse panel in the cab, and re-test..
  7. you know,,,, another issue that plagues dash lights in these model's, is the dimmer switch... you can turn the lights on, and with the side of your finger, work the dimmer switch knob back and forth as fast as you can.. this has actually cleaned the contacts inside the knob assembly.. jojo
  8. Im guessing its a 2002 CH? The headlight wire harness runs along the left side of the engine block, behind the oil filters. There are a few points where it is held by 'P' clamps.. they will wear through the wires, and short out the lights. also,, attached to the left side steering box upper mount bolt, , is a clamp that holds the hood wire harness... 2 square,, 4 pin plugs.. Issues can happen there.. then there is the wires going into the rear of the headlight buckets, if there is poor conditions there, the wires can be cut by the fiber glass.. jojo
  9. I have little knowledge on listers, however, I used to operate a lot of early 90's Moffett Mounty's that had Lister Peter engines.. they seemed to be pretty good... They sure did rattle a lot when running. I believe they had one head per cylinder, which I liked.. The Moffett that I own has a Mitsubishi diesel, and mine is also a 1989 model.. Well, that's all I got.. jojo
  10. Ok.. it is very common for oil to leak/weep between the block and flywheel housing.. a lot of work to fix a minor issue.. the rubber gasket is to be installed dry, however, a small amount of Mack Gray RTV is applied at the seams where the flywheel housing mates up, and the front cover mates up. 4 points.. new bolt insulators are a must.. PAI sells a nice pan gasket set.. the E-Tech pan gasket is very good.. Good luck with your RD,, you are in the right place for info.. Jojo
  11. I always go back to: not looking inside the cup bores for debris or spider webs (cracks), soot etc:.. then I question proper cleaning procedures, which is tough enough as it is, before cutting out steps.. the bores need to be wiped out and blown out and checked thouroughly. You need to make sure that no bristles from the 3-M needle pad have gotten loose inside the fuel galleries. The dealerships make it a game to beat SRT.. I always said... just fix it right, forget SRT.. I made many mistakes in my early days, and I worked hard to not make those mistakes again.. Attention to detail is crucial.. To this day, when I work on anything, I do the best I can to be accurate in my repairs. Yes I have had issues, and make a mistake here and there.. But these injector cup issues should be routine repairs by now, without error... Hell. I dont know ... I welcome opinions.. time for bed.. Jojo
  12. Bob,,, Does the air start still work? I like it.. It's plenty.... Hell it hasnt been crushed and turned into Kia's...
  13. Onyx,,,, You are SO FULL OF $HIT !!! Luv u Bro...
  14. how about a better pic. of the DM??? BOB !!!!
  15. That will work too Bob.. as long as you have 2,, 110v+ poles going to the breaker..
  16. Bingo!!! I bet it back feeds a double breaker.. Take the inner cover off and look.. neutral and ground may be together on the ground buss, and red and black should be feeding the breaker.
  17. Predator... 420cc engine.. it has electric start, but it starts on 1 or 2 pulls, so no biggie...
  18. 🍻
  19. Your welcome... The generator is around $800.00 here, I have a short 10g 4wire harness with twist lock 4 pin plug ends.. It's easy.. I just hook Genny to the house that way.. By the way,, the small covered box on the top left corner of my panel is the input for Genny.. Good luck Bob... jojo
  20. P.A. is an important State from the very begging.. Just need to turn it back to RED.... Purple aint gonna cut it..
  21. Bob, We lost power last week due to a wire fire on our lines.. here is my house on Generator, and there is a picture of a plug that My electrician installed for me. $250.00 parts and labor for it.. Yes, I do have to start my Genny, and turn the main breaker off, and turn on Jojo power by flipping a double 30 breaker,, but as you can see it works..
  22. I have an 1100 sq" house.. I have 2 fridges, elec. stove. 900w microwave, 2 T.V.'s on at all times, 110v well pump, 2 security systems, and 7 pairs of LED spot lights around my house and buildings. My Cheapass 7500 watt Harbor Freight (Steady running power) not Surge power, generator works great. I have a small Natural gas heater that is self contained, so I can shut my gas pack off to ease the load on Genny.. I believe you have a pellet stove for heat, so that helps.. Jojo
  23. Welcome to the dog house.. I did a Suspension up-grade on a Superliner last summer, and Mack couldnt help me much, so I sent the springs and the new pins to a machine shop, and they made, and pressed new bushings. If you go that route, ask if they can cut grease galleries inside the bushing.. If not, you can use a cutoff wheel and make 2 short shallow grooves in the pins to get the grease to spread.. Jojo
  24. Ok Onyx,, Yeah I just saw the latest on the guy that killed those college kids.. Guy's,,,, is there something we need to know about 'The Keystone State' ???
  25. Oh... Sorry,,, I'm slow.. Yeah He is a D-Bag.. Who's the murderer?
