  1. If you post the truck models/years etc... someone will help you. JoeH may know, he is a currently active mechanic. Mackpro is another who may help.
  2. Ok. I do not have any info on a 400.. my book only goes to 350, sorry bud.
  3. The technology has gotten far away from me. I guess it depends on what you intend to use it for, and the model years of the trucks you work on..
  4. If the Tennessee school shooter was a white boy, the story would still be in the news.. squeezed in between current events.
  5. You were ready.. perfect.. i have had to work on so much junk that it could take a whole shift to get it apart due to rust on top if what it takes to do an R or DM . I take the right door of DM's so i can fit in there to get the seat and floor pan out.. thats at leaste 90 minutes..
  6. I bet the clutch wouldnt release properly, the flywheel was likely a bowl rather than flat.. i get it, i never liked chop jobs, only did a few, they suck, work hard, it fails work hard again..
  7. Dude, that would be a hustle if i ever saw one.. gid bless you
  8. 8 hrs.?? With a turned flywheel and rear main seal, pto, in an R model ??? Bullshit.!!!
  9. Aint it funny how we dont hear any more news about the so called girl school shooter, and the black boy shooter in Tennessee who's picture still hasnt been posted... It should be solved by now.. but the Dems have a new thing to focus on...
  10. One thing i didnt think about until i heard it today....... Marine #1 flys in that area often... You know I dont trust the Clinton's,, Obamas, and Bidens... They tried to Kill Mr. Trump twice in a short time already.. Mr. Trump may need to be on house arrest, in the white house,,,,,, or,,,,,,, Mara Largo... Thoughts ?????
  11. 🙏
  12. I love how easy it was to crank the clutch with a short screwdriver.. in the video.
  13. KS, one of the other angles does make it look like it rammed the plane. I too am waiting for more info. Too many posts about Trump, Sean Duffy, and transgender smoke in my eyes right now...
  14. Yeah , gotcha.. i missed a few things myself. We try to give good diagnostics here. I find at times my fingers move faster then my mind. I havent been under a truck in 3 years. And its starting to show..
  15. I thought i saw that style of adjuster in the pictures...
  16. Yes after 1/2" gap is achieved at the throwout bearing and clutch brake
  17. I am curious to see the effects of the tariffs. I have no interest in getting pissed off. Dems say everything will cost a lot more. I say lets go.. I feel like these countries will change their wicked ways. I also hope that we start producing things here on U.S. soil. I am concerned about the scruples of U.S. business owners.
  18. Yeah, i had to get creative.
  19. I think he was inquiring about this tool, not sure.. He is out of posts again. He is limited by BMT for some reason
  20. Fjh,, i still have a tool i made for this. I cut an expandable load bar down to a useable length. I push the clutch and use the tool against the pedal and door frame near the bottom so i can get out of the truck. It holds the clutch down for me. It takes a couple extra minutes, but i got very good at doing it. I worked alone quite often...
  21. Interesting, i was taught to set the 1/8" free play gap and 1/2" gap between the clutch brake and throughout bearing, then adjust pedal movement if needed, at the clutch arm to get the 3 positions of the clutch pedal in the right locations. Looks like i need to open the maint and lube book again..
  22. The 690 was weak. I did a bunch of these upgrades and they were still, just decent. Its been a long time bud..
