fuse 41 in the fuse box under the hood by the steering column.. Do the reverse lights work, and it s just the indicator light? Manual tranny has a switch in the top for reverse. 2 wires going to it..

yeah I cant see it good,, too close.. I assume you tried to tighten the clamp.. it looks like a constant torque clamp, is it?

my guess is the nipple is cracked and possibly missing a piece. have you lowered the coolant level and removed the top hose to inspect it?

I sometimes wonder if Volvo, stopped teaching parts guys how to look up Mack parts? And now the parts counter is all new people with no knowledge, just Volvo training, (sculpting).. I experienced some of it in the service dept. When I tried to go back to Mack about 6 years ago..
